Default Sunset Sessions Doc. Las Vegas

I just got home from LV tonight and have to say it was so well worth the trip to Vegas to see this documentary. I had no expecatations going in but man let me tell you it was amazing!!! Just incredible behind the scenes footage, a lot of funny stuff, a lot of serious, sad stuff too (New Orleans and Soldier's Angel). You all must see it...it truly was profesionally done and just blew me away. I like the way Steve narrates it throughout...I'm so proud of her. The q & a went well even when a band started playing in the ballroom next door. Stevie and Dave didn't miss a beat (it wasn't that loud) and didn't lose their concentration. Dave made light of it in his English humor type of way.
The best part was the private meet and greet afterward. I attended that as well and they had a professional photographer taking pics of us with Stevie. Stevie's people are so nice and just really easy going. Cheers to Cheryl Lewis and Karen J. for making things flow so well. Oh btw, Waddy came along for the ride too!!!! Didn't say hi to him but he was so friendly to everyone.

Remembering her narration on CV which was highly entertaining, I really am looking forward to what she says on the documentary.

Why are all these chickens here. And wondering why the wardobe was so small. She's hilarious.

I don't think she really knew why she and her lover couldn't be together in the Civil War video though. I think she thinks they just hauled him away because . . . well, probably because he was trying to correct her pronoun usage.

I always found that humorous...she talks about how she "wrote" this crazy video...but doesn't quite get that, you know, MAJOR plot twist at the end.

The photo reminds me of going to my voting location and showing my drivers license to the three people at the table for my address identification.

Stevie would be funny at the voting place. They have these long ledger pages with names and you have to go down the whole page and check someone's name. You'd be sitting there 30 minutes waiting for her to find your name.

Then finally she'd just say, "Oh, hell I'm blind as a bat - who are voting for? I'll just make a note of it in my journal."

I'd like to know what was the first election that Stevie ever voted in. The Vietnam War engaged many young people in the political process, so I bet a lot of her peers voted for the first time in 1968 but I wouldn't put my money on her (or Lindsey) having done so.

I wouldn't be surprised if she voted for the first time in the 90s.

Don't you have to present an ID to vote? Even if you are Stevie Nicks...

Well, you don't in Pennsylvania, although poll workers didn't seem to know this.

Did Stevie say she didn't renew her driver's license? I remember her talking about her driving, but can't recall the upshot of it.

Well, you can get a non DL identification.

Nope. You state your address and they say your name out loud and you verify it. I could pose as you.

Hahaha I probably be so nervous and probably forget to vote after she looks up me name and address on the voting list. She looks so relaxed there in the photo with a smile.

Since Dave was present .I probably strike up a techno geek conversion with him about in making the Docu and recording IYD CD. all that kind of stuff is Greek to Stevie.
