Default Hot Air Ballooning

Has anyone gone hot air ballooning? I would like to try this. I was wondering if you get air sickness or if the balloon would be to noisy. I also find it quite expensive, I wonder if prices change throughout the seasons, Im guessing because of the autumn prices are rather high.

I've been in Colorado. It was great! I didn't get sick, but the balloon was pretty noisy and you have to wake up at the crack of dawn (at least, we did).
Not sure about prices changing.

Cool No...

Never been hot air ballooning, but a few years ago, Debbie & I were shopping in OKC and saw a balloon festival launch go very bad when the Oklahoma winds picked up and caused chaos to many of the ballooners...I remember one crash landing onto a billboard along I-40 and Council Rd. and another almost landed on top our car as we were driving down Council Rd.

The good news was that noone was injured but I think the festival had been scrapped ever since, which sucks because it was cool to watch the balloons in flight - Now I only see the Goodyear Blimp occassionally making trips to Lawton's Goodyear Plant.

My sister took a hot air balloon over Africa, when she went there for vacation. She found it to be amazing.

Yes, I've been. It was here in Florida and it was awesome! No sickness for me. It is something you should do at least once.
