The September 13 issue of Rolling Stone has a piece on what artists do to kill time backstage. They come at it from the angle that it's a lot less wild and crazy than it used to be, and they give a few examples. Stevie is pictured with the subtitle, "Drawing." She says, "I probably have 40 to 50 pieces I work on continually. If I am a complete nervous wreck and I sit down with one of my drawings for five minutes, I will see something change in the drawing and I will love it." There's also a small picture of one of her works.

Is it a picture we've already seen?
It figures I just gave this issue away to a friend without even reading it first. I skimmed the issue and learned that Ke$ha and Nelly Furtado are among the artists releasing albums in Sept. |
