If I'd have written a song on "Rumours"? How about "You want a what?", or "We should have had a Pre-Nup". (John McVie)

That Uncle Kracker song can go to hell. It makes me angry just hearing it.

I wish SYW was doing better. What's the freakin PROBLEM? I can't blame it on **** radio- it really just hasn't been promoted.

WHEN are they going to say, "hey, we need a video, otherwise there's a whole big audience that doesnt even know we have a new single." Because, you know.. cd players have been invented and lots of people just don't even listen to the radio. Cars are coming standard with cd players now, and that's cutting into the primary radio listening place. WISE UP MAC, jeeze.

Me too! I can't understand why the stations don't play any SYW songs at all! Then again, it's rare to find any Mac song on the stations I listen to. WPLR plays GYOW on occasion, and sometimes The Chain, and 105.9 plays Landslide, but that's about all I hear. I havn't heard Peacekeeper in about 2 months, and have never heard SYW on the radio. Maybe we should start requesting SYW more?

Unfortunately I think Reprise looks at the success of Stevie's videos for TISL and feels making a full scale video would be a waste, if VH1 only gives it minimal rotation ya know??

Chris--I had thought the format for VH1 was for more adult tastes...and MTV was for the kiddies. Whatever happened to THAT??

Ryan--I don't get what is with CT stations. I've caught SYW halfway or after it just started on LONG ISLAND stations. What is the deal???

Well yea that's true....but we all know VH1 is slowly changing its demographic...I dont think they are necessarily changing to fit the teen audience like MTV, but I would say more 20ish people...and they do try to satisfy their old audience as well, with the Behind the Music stuff....but it is obvious they have changed their intended demographic some......

Yeah, Say You Will isn't exactly tearing up the charts.
But you know what I've been thinking? We all seem to care so much about how Mac does commercially _ as if we need other people to like the new album and singles in order to feel good about them ourselves. I'm as guilty of this as anyone.
But really, what difference does it make? All I really care about is that they keep making music together. And the album and tour (especially the tour) are clearly doing well enough that they'll be able to keep doing that as long as they want.
If radio programmers aren't playing the new songs and/or people aren't that crazy about them, it's their loss.

You are right...but still, I'd like to flip on the radio and hear SYW once in a great while!
