Emmylou Harris
Steve Earle
Gram Parsons (including Fallen Angels, International Submarine Band)
Flying Burrito Brothers
Waylon Jennings
Willie Nelson
Sugarland (Jennifer Nettles has an incredible voice!)
Alison Krauss and Union Station
Dolly Parton (especially her bluegrass trilogy of album from about 10-12 years ago)
Nickel Creek
Linda Ronstadt (her rock material too)
Dixie Chicks
Rosanne Cash
Johnny Cash
JD Souther
Patsy Cline
kd lang
Miranda Lambert/Pistol Annies
Julie Roberts
Hayseed Dixie (so much fun!)
Loretta Lynn

Loads more too of course... In my guiltiest pleasure moments I'll listen to some Garth too and a little Clint Black (I love a Good Run of Bad Luck!). I haven't listened to much Dwight Yoakam though, maybe I need to hear some more...
Great picks.I wish the new artist will go more into the classic sound.

Since we're talking favorite country artists, here are a few of mine (besides Dwight):

Hank Williams, Sr.
Johnny Cash
Allison Krauss
Dolly Parton
Loretta Lynn
Marty Robbins
Buck Owens
Alabama
Trisha Yearwood (I think she has a beautiful voice.)
The Dixie Chicks
Emmylou Harris
Keith Whitley
Hal Ketchum
Patsy Cline
Great picks too.

I've seen these guys. They all put on a good show.
I met the Statler Brothers (the original group). They
were very nice and they signed a copy of one of their
records for me. That was many moons ago.

That's great Caitlin, I was hoping you would find a better job. Good luck and be happy!

It's not a better job though. She went to beauty school, not receptionist school. Hopefully she won't give up in finding a nice salon to work in. This girl knows how to style women's hair.

The Oak Ridge Boys remind me of my school days.
I saw them in concert a few times. Plus the bass singer
Richard Sterban sang in Elvis' backup group The Stamps.
Though he had already left by the time I saw Elvis in '75.
He's got a new autobiography coming out soon.
