I think they should in celebration of Rumours 35 year anniversary. NFL pays for the stage. It would be crazy!!! Strobe lights during The Chain solo...ah...

Shall we petition?
Fleetwood Mac would be nice at half-time however, I did hear a radio interview recently where Eddie Van Halen hinted his band might be doing the half-time show? He would not confirm it though. Who knows?
If the MAc does do it I think some of the songs mentioned would be great..The Chain, Second Hand News, GYOW, and only if they could get Christine to do a one off appearance, You Make Lovin Fun.

I remember I saved a 360 show where Erica and Anderson were talking about Stevie. It was when those school children in New York were singing Landslide for her and Erica introduced the segment and Anderson seemed kind of confused by it. He heard her say "Stevie Nicks" but didn't get the context at first and he was going, "what? What?" and he was being kind of adorable and I just left that whole episode on tivo.

Oh No They Didn't

Stevie Nicks on CBS, confirms band reunion, Gayle is rude, etc

Singer-songwriter Stevie Nicks, best known for her work as lead singer of Fleetwood Mac, says the group is reuniting in 2013.

Wednesday on "CBS This Morning," Nicks said a reunion will happen "next year, so far." She added, "...It's the plan. Because that's what we do. I do my thing. And Lindsey (Buckingham is) out doing his thing now."

Nicks also discussed life in the limelight in the early days of Fleetwood Mac, the band's drug use, how she began her solo career and her relationship with her fellow band mates.

Gayle kind of cut her off a lot and was pretty ballsy asking about cross-pollination and boinking.... but otherwise, this was a great interview.

Also, Happy Birthday Christine McVie!

ugh do we have to celebrate the anniversary of Rumours every five years now? 30th, 35th, 40th..... I mean , they have other albums. Did they do anything special for the 30th anniversary of Tusk in 09? That album is the one that really solidified their success and ensured they wouldn't just be known for Rumours...oh.....wait........

I agree... If they were going get together to make new music well that's one thing, but another Greatest Hits Tour does not interest me as much as celebrating the anniversary of Buckingham Nicks with it being released on CD, a new album and a Stevie and Lindsey TOUR. !!!

why do I get the feeling that if Fleetwood Mac tours Greatest Hit again it wil be mostly to make Mick solvent again. "_)

VH would be a strange choice as they had to cancel their tour due to poor sales

I get so tired of them beating Rumours into the ground too, but I have to say, I hope they at least have something to promote! Stevie toured in 2005, 2006, 2008, and 2012 and FM toured in 2009 with NOTHING to promote. Sure, Stevie is out there "promoting" IYD, but she isn't offering anything new with this tour and FM sure didn't offer anything new with Unleashed. I'm to the point where I wouldn't care if this was a Rumours 35th anniversary tour as long as they had something NEW to put out or had the whole Rumours band there. I mean hell, if they are going on another greatest hits tour, would it kill them to release a greatest hits package like Crystal Visions? Can't we get all the Mac videos on a DVD? Or at least release some of their old **** (Tusk Doc, Mirage Concert, Tango Concert, The Dance on BluRay) on DVD? Knowing them tho, they will enlist Christopher Nicks to design some new shirts and then hit the road with the same old setlist plus two new songs.

Anyone else noticed the shot of Vanessa Carlton talking with Stevie just before she went on air?

yes saw that and Vanessa carlton was great too last night at mohegan sun arena's sold out Stevie show another awesome concert. Gayle King needs to go back to news anchor school I though she was rude with Stevie and they showed a clip of stevie before going to someone else and you can see Stevie looking a little down about it afterwards. Liz needs to take off of quiestions of the rumours era, drugs and sex and lindsey relationship, she is far ahead of that past now, quiestions need to be asked about what Stevie is doing now not her past.

Gayle did get on my nerves too. But, Stevie was intentionally talking about Lindsey. Gayle was pushing, trying to get her to discuss the "cross pollination", as she called it. I don't think Stevie liked where she was headed and that's why she wanted to reiterate how she and Lindsey had been in love. I had to laugh at that because Stevie definitely knows how to talk around something. Pro!

Check out this subtle expression after Gayle said "boinking":

Stevie was not amused. But, she really handled herself well and I was surprised at how on top of it she was for that early in the morning after a show.

It will come to me later, I'm sure.
Technically she was married, however briefly. But that ill-conceived union had no relation to a traditional "we're in love, let's get married" scenario. It was a matter of two emotionally distraught people dealing with shared tragedy, trying to do the best thing for a motherless baby. I understand why Stevie sometimes overlooks or dismisses it.

What I love about her recent interviews is that she is so confident and composed. Stevie's more articulate and present now than ever before. Truly impressive at this stage in her life.

omg no! Was that on the live broadcast? Kinda cute of her to hang out on set with Stevie in the AM.

V did post this pic yesterday while en route to Mohegan, obviously with Stevie. I'm still not one-hundred percent sure whose sitting in front of her
http://yfrog.com/ntns9xaj

I also don't watch these morning shows (I can't stand the fake and dumb BS propagated by most of them) but I feel authorized to say Gayle needs to go away. I love how Stevie owns her interviews. I feel like she's been knocking them out of the park since the beginning
