Thanks for posting the clip. Regarding Karen...She is just doing her job. Being a personal assistant means standing in the background and being at your boss's beck and call without intruding.

Bette has mentioned in a couple of interviews how much she loves Youtube. Maybe she is/has talked Stevies stubborn *ass into getting with it.

Michele

love me some Stevie
but no-one does the Rose like Bette
imagine standing on stage and making 100s of people cry at ur feet
no drowning reeds necessary

Stevie needs to ditch the quasi ankle boots
and put some knee high ones on with those leggings if she insists in wearing them
the top, her body, her face all HOT HOT HOT!!!
she looks all shiny and happy *sigh*

ME TOO!!!!!
Bette was my fave singer since i was 6 ... only to be eclipsed by Stevie when I turned 20

but she's still near and dear.
news to me theyve been friends since the 70s
WHY havent they worked together

i thought they were only friends thru Taku?

When the hell is Stevie going to be inducted? God forbid the R&R Hall of Fame induct her as a solo artist. Stevie needs to be next into the songwriters hall of fame!!

Right?

No disrespect to Bette, but it sort of puzzles me that she received a lifetime achievement award for her skills as a "song interpreter," while Stevie still isn't in it.
Not that there's anything wrong with being a song interpreter. There isn't. But it isn't the same thing as being a songwriter...

Yes I agree.Bette is a knock out performer. And also a great actress too,She was my moms favorite.

What puzzles me is why don't these organizations don't recognize Stevie and her work. It's like she's on their blacklist.
