Default Boston tonight - first east coast leg show

http://bostonglobe.com/arts/2012/05/...fpK/story.html

Less is more Of his tour, Fleetwood Mac guitarist and singer Lindsey Buckingham said, “Over time it has become increasingly vital to express more with less; that is my touchstone now, and the embodiment of that philosophy is what will be largely represented in the new show.” The less you will get is more than enough when the Grammy winner performs tracks from his latest album, “Seeds We Sow,” at his one-man show. May 29 at 9 p.m. $45. The Wilbur, 246 Tremont St., Boston. 800-745-3000. www.thewilbur.com

Will someone ask Lindsey about Southern dates and when if you get an opportunity, please?

I didn't realize until I saw those pics that I have very passionate feelings about the suit jacket. He's on my coast in a suit jacket and I don't have tickets to see him, I like can't even deal.

@theloveofkale NEW POST: Father-Daughter Date Night & Good News! http://fortheloveofkale.com/2012/05/...ght-good-news/

LB-related parts:

...The two of us hopped in the car, put on some Steve Miller, and drove into Boston for the Lindsey Buckingham concert. For those of you that are not familiar, Lindsey Buckingham is the lead singer of Fleetwood Mac…and I have an insanely huge crush on him. Never mind the fact that he is 62 years young.
...

Anywho, Dad and I waited with baited breath and smiles for Lindsey to come onstage.

Overall, the concert was fantastic. There was no opening act and Lindsey played a solo set, alternating between his many acoustic and electric guitars. He played a bunch of Fleetwood Mac classics like “Go Your Own Way,” “Big Love,” and “Go Insane” as well as a bunch of newer, solo material, all of which was off-the-charts. His talent is unprecedented. Check out this performance of “Go Insane” from 1992. He sounded just like this last night. Sigh. All in all, it was a fantastic night with two of my favorite men!

^^ That is really great From the pictures, it looks like there were plenty of mothers, fathers, daughters and sons enjoying the show together. Very cool! Makes me a little sad, though, that my own plans to take my son didn't work out this time

Wouldn't your kid be, if nothing else, curious to check out Mama's obsession?

of course not - teenagers are not exactly into their parents' music.

actually, he did go last fall - said LB is impressive, especially as a guitarist, although he didn't care for his lyrics.

I'd much rather put on some Lindsey Buckingham while driving to a Lindsey Buckingham concert
