I was a huge Stevie/Lindsey shipper, but i'm really liking Lindsey with Kristen, these days. Just seeing those pics, and the ones with their kids, i just think they make a beautiful family together, and am happy he's happy. I'm kind of getting tired, at times, of this whole Stevie/Lindsey thing when, at the end of the day, and looking at the facts, i'm basically convinced they don't like each other very much...to the point of not wanting to do an album together (ever again?). I am not asking forever from you... just one freaking last album.

I agree. One last B/N album would be great closure, possibly for them, but definitely for their fans. Perhaps they could even "co-write" a song together. I find it interesting that they have shared song writing credit on two songs: "Frozen Love" and "The Chain." Each song (to me) represents a significant chapter in their professional careers (probably their personal lives, as well). A final B/N album would be a great bookend.

Thank you for this. I get so disheartened reading constant comments of Kristen being just a "Stevie alternative" and questioning their relationship. It's nice to read a post where somebody's simply happy that he's happy

I agree with this. I don't see Kristen that way at all. I respect her a lot as his wife and a lady who has to have a pretty resilient personality to deal with some of the things written about her husband and Stevie. And even her. Anyway, I don't know her personally, but I think Kristen couldn't look more different than Stevie. They have blonde hair, that's about it. Stevie has this very Lady of Shalott look, while Kristen resembles a very modern, fresh-faced, high cheek-boned beauty. I really, truly see no physical resemblance between the two. Kristen isn't even short.

Yep, she's taller than me. I used to live in heels, but when I stood next to LB there was a definite height difference, though he's no giant. And kind of scrawny in real life- sorry to burst that bubble for some.

Hehe, you're welcome, i guess. I'm glad you're glad i'm glad. Even in my darkest hours of shipperness (!), i never thought of Kristen as a "Stevie alternative". Carol Ann, on the other hand... .
Just like Nico said, i actually think Stevie and Kristen look very different, and Kristen's skinniness makes her perfect for Lindsey now, IMO (just like Stevie in the 70s was perfect for baby-face Lindsey). And they don't just look good together, they seem to really get along.

And, btw, gorgeous GI era pics! I remember when i used to despise this hair and plucked eyebrows (plus shoulder pads), but it's all strangely attractive to me now. Ah, the times, they are a-changing...

I don't think Kristen resembles Stevie in the slightest. Her angular features are very different.

Prime examples as to why Go Insane is my favourite Lindsey era. Aside from his quirky image of the time, even his actions and videos were batsh*t crazy. For some reason I appreciate crazy Lindsey more than standard Mr. B. Maybe because his videos are more entertaining. Nothing could beat wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man Lindsey in his Go Insane video, after all.

Uck. I've been trapped in dissertation essay hell for days now and forum posting is hard. Non stop essay writing has depleted my understanding of the english language. I've begun to feel as though half of the words I'm typing I've made up. Is up even a word? I don't even know anymore. I want to finish this essay, already! 2000 words left to go and lots and lots of proof reading......Why am I typing this in this thread? Go to sleep Bee.
