Such a sad way to end the year for Stevie and her family. I hope all the memories and cherished moments get them through this rough time.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Stevie and her family.
You wouldn't think asking for a source was such a big deal. Some people can't get that through their thick heads. Thanks, Janet.

No, I won't. I said my condolences, and I'm truly sorry for their loss. But I'll be damned if I'm going to let people crucify me because I'm looking for official word. Surely it wouldn't be a big deal to share the source. So long as some continue to crucify me for asking for a source, I'll continue to defend myself.

Back in the day, we wouldn't have posted any type of hearsay without something to back it up with.

Well, if it is true, then condolences to Stevie and Chris and all the family. No matter how old you are, losing your parents is a traumatic thing. I lost my mom 8 years ago when I was in my 30s and it was the shock of my life. I lost my dad 3 years ago, and even though I was in my 40s by then, it still made me feel adrift and orphaned. And for Stevie, being famous and in some ways vulnerable, having her Mom and her home as a safe place for herself and things that were important to her must have been a great comfort.

To be in your 30's and lose a parent just seems unnatural. I'm in my 30's and I can't even imagine. I'm sorry you've lost them both. I would be lost without mine.

I did post the source, you chose not to believe it. It was NEVER hearsay just because you didn't believe the statement.

All: I apologize for answering this post in this thread again. I was trying to be respectful to the privacy of the Nicks family and thoughtful to the fans who were planning to send "Get Well" cards/gifts to Barbara.

I'm one of those "senior fans" and I've never known you to post anything wrong about Stevie. That's good enough for me.

Some people need to take their drama and remove it from this thread if they are so concerned about Stevie and her family as they claim to be.

RIP Barbara.

OK, enough on that subject. Let's discuss Mrs. Nicks or not, but enough bickering.

I was wanting an official word, I'm
glad someone asked, and that we've
since received it.
