Master baker? I'm more of a mastur***er! Really, "baking" is the one thing I've never really tried. I guess mainly because I don't have much of a sweet tooth, so I don't crave cakes and pies. And I avoid bread, because it's evil. (even though I'm a secret bread whore, we're successfully divorced)

I REALLY want to make a GOOD meatloaf, drownding in a sea of ketchup!
Sigh... I went for the more subtle pun but no!

I never do too much when preparing mussels. You really don't need to. Cook them for a couple of minutes with some garlic, drizzle of lemon jouce over the top - that's it. If I;d had some white wine I'd have chucked a little in too. They're also great with flaked chili over them.

Bread loves me and I love bread. We're whores for each other and the relationship works!

Please don't confuse me for someone who is subtle!

Mmmm. I don't think my town is big enough(100k) to have REAL fresh seafood markets. I see them in Nashville all the time, though. I guess I should take a cooler, and hit one before I leave town, and pack that sh*t in ice, then feast the next day!

Yeah, while I love that whore, it was one of the easiest things for me to divorce. On the rare occasion I eat out, I do allow myself one roll with my salad, and one roll with my dinner.

Most of my yeast intake, comes in the form of hops and barley....

Quick, simple and cheap from the local chinese supermarket - cheap food is always good - and you don't have to do anything fancy with them. Brilliant!

I'm more of a baker than anything else (a master baker in fact...) and so that's my thing. My banana bread is awesome and I also make killer Stollen every Christmas.

Yummy yummy yummy!!!!!

I ADORE all fish/seafood/shellfish.......even love chewing on a big whelk, which tends to bring disgusted looks from most people I know!

I'm not a sweet tooth either, definitely a savoury tooth!

I am thinking we may be related and got separated somehow in the dim and distant past!

I think you're right!!! FWIW, I was adopted, so..........

Sweets are okay, they're just not what I crave. I'll pick savory over sweet, any day! Even on the occasion that I have dessert, I almost always have to have something savory afterwards, to get that damned sweet taste out of my mouth!

So we're opposites. WHAT is it that you don't like?
It burns your mouth?
It gives you heartburn?
It hurts your stomach?
You just don't like "hot", in general?

I really am curious, because I'm addicted to the heat...it's almost a contest with myself, to see how hot I can take it.

It burns my mouth so bad!
I don't think I've ever had heartburn and it's never hurt my stomach if it didn't burn my mouth so if it didn't do that I'd be fine, but then it wouldn't be spice I guess

I think you have to start off gently and gradually build up to spicier and hotter stuff - it's worth it when you reach the really hot stuff in years to come!

So......you could be English and a long lost brother I never knew I had in the first place!!!!

I might fancy a sweet on a rare occasion but then I always regret it and wish I had gone for the cheeseboard!

I ENJOY the burn.
Honestly, the reason I really don't like "American home cooking" is because I find it to be bland. Although I can spice up a beef stew like nobody's bidness!

My favorite spice/hot sauce is called Mae Ploy's sweet chili sauce. A 28 oz bottle is about $3, and it's perfect! Not killer hot, but sweet and spicy. Just right!

I'd love to have the accent, but not the bad teeth(I'M JOKING!!!)!

I know! Cheese, nuts, salsa, sour cream dips....these are the treats I crave. That pie over there? Let somebody else have it. It just doesn't satisfy me.

If there's pizza still in the box, it keeps calling me, all night long, until it's gone!

But would you want my accent? Seen Frasier? Well I sound just like Daphne Moon - yes, I am a Northern gal and proud of it!
