Talking More Tango Rarities Added

I just finished adding 5 more Tango rarities onto my site. These are recordings I made myself earlier tonight. I hope you like them all. If you discover any skips or the like, I'd appreciate a heads up... this is the first time I've used my new computer to record from an analog source.

Thumbs up Sounds good!

Thanks John!! I never know WHAT the heck songs I've downloaded or not, so just in case, I downloaded those I wasn't sure I had in my collection.

I usually HATE remixes of songs, but with these Tango era ones, they are COOL!!! I love the Little Lies Extended remix!! They sound very jungle-ish/Latin-y or something. LOL The Family Man remixes ROCK too....I love the guitar mix, although the bonus beats remix gets old REALLY fast.

It's interesting you mentioned the jungle-ishness of the tracks because my friend and I have always suspected that African ryhtms were a big influence on both Mick and Lindsey at the Tango time. The influence on Mick is pretty easy to spot IMO but I wasn't very convinced about the influence on Lindsey until I heard the Dance version of Everywhere and then Bleed to Love Her. Those definitely have African-influenced guitar licks on them.

Thanks John!!! I really like Stevie's added vocals on Big Love and Little Lies. It was cool to hear a different version of old favorites

I have no idea what they mean by "dub." Perhaps someone else can define it? I do know that the tracks that have it in their title are chiefly instrumentals with unusual arrangements and occasional vox.

I have to send a BIG "THANK YOU" for all your effort in putting up these songs for everyone.

I have some of those 12" remixes [big love, little lies, seven wonders]....but I DIDNT have them as MP3's . My stereo isnt in working order right now...and I really didnt have a way to "record" those remixes into digital media.

I downloaded the whole shebang today at lunchtime [at work]!!
And it was a treat to listen to these songs that I hadnt heard in a while and had no way to listen to!

And I really have enjoyed the Family Man editions you have up there too! I didnt have any of those.

Thanks so much for sharing The Mac with us, John.
