Default hotels, safe or unsafe areas etc

I remember a few girls travelling around on the fleetwood mac syw tour and was wondering if that was common, I wonder where lindsey might stay? i think his budget wouldnt be as high as that of fleetwood macs - I just wonder if thrre is a particular chain he goes with!!

On a side note I have google map searched the area around the Munhall/Pitts show and the area looks really crappy so Im thinking I may change my hotel.... can anyone confirm what the area near there is like?

Lindsey still flies around in a private plane to do his little solo shows, so I seriously doubt budget is something that ever crosses his mind. He's said in the past few years that his solo career is a money losing venture.

And as far as Lindsey & chain hotels... he doesn't strike me as a chain hotel kinda guy. He probably stays at whatever unique, landmark hotel that particular city has. I know nothing about Lindsey's taste though, I'm just speculating.

I live in the Pittsburgh area (southside) and Homestead/Munhall area isnt the greatest but its not as bad as people are making it out to be. I have a ton of relatives and friends that live in the area and they havent had any problems. If you dont mind telling me, what hotel you are staying at? The only hotels I know of that are really close to the venue are at the Waterfront and that is a very nice area with lots of shopping, restaurants and bars and is very safe. So if you booked a hotel there you will be fine. Also I live in the Southside which is close to the Waterfront area (about 4-5 miles) and there are some hotels there as well that are nice and safe too.

i dont see too many taxis down at the waterfront but the hotel should have a shuttle that will take you to and from the show. you might want to call and confirm this with them to be sure. i know there are alot of buses that go through the waterfront as well so you could check the portauthority.org website to see when they run.

And I'm sure you would have good chances of catching him near the venues, either for soundcheck or after the show by the buses. Or spot the other bandmates hanging out and they might hook you up. How many cities are you going to?
