Default The "In Your Dreams" Survivor Thread - Round One
Here is what has won so far:

Bella Donna - How Still My Love
Wild Heart - Stand Back
Rock A Little - No Spoken Word
Other Side of the Mirror - Rooms on Fire
Street Angel - Blue Denim
Trouble in Shangri-La - Trouble in Shangri-La
The "B-Side & Soundtrack" [Part One] - Sleeping Angel
The "B-Side & Soundtrack" [Part Two] - If You Ever Did Believe
The "Demos" - Forest of Black Roses

Due to the low amount of votes during the first "Demos" Survivor I have decided not to continue those challenges at this time, instead we are onto the "In Your Dreams" Survivor Thread...

Because you are only allowed ten choices: "In Your Dreams", "For What It's Worth", "Annabelle Lee" and "Moonlight" will be added in the next rounds...

I'm predicting "My Heart" and "Cheaper Than Free" buy it the first round (I didn't vote for "Cheaper Than Free", but so many Ledgers dislike it...)

I voted Everybody Loves You and Cheaper Than Free.

I really like My Heart, and I do love the verses / bridge to ELY but I don't like the chorus much at all.

ELY is a great song, except for that intro and Stevie singing "cahn't".

It's Soldier's Angel, not Soldier's Song. I voted for that, and Cheaper Than Free to go.

"My Heart" is the only song I really don't care for on IYD and always skip. Though I must admit I was not as excited as most on this board that she revisited it again. This song has always been meh for me, so I was hoping they truly were going to improve upon it, but aside from a few vocal improvements here and there, overall I prefer the TISL arrangement, it's much more palatable for me & belonged on that record, not IYD

2nd choice was much harder, but I chose "Cheaper Than Free". I know it's controversial around here due to some hating the lyrics, Dave's voice etc, But I really love this song, just not as much as the others...and It'll be voted down hard no matter what anyway.

Cheaper Than Free and My Heart.

I don't hate Cheaper Than Free, but it's certainly the second-weakest song on the record, after My Heart. My Heart is the only song on the album that I just can't warm to. I think it's because I much prefer the TISL Demo/Outtake/whatever arrangement, and keep expecting the IYD one to sound more like that.

My thoughts almost exactly, but I think my loathing is stronger.

Second choice would be "Annabel Lee" (nothing else is close as far as I'm concerned), but since it's not an option, I went with "Everybody Loves You". That intro has no place on a Stevie song, which I might forgive, but it goes on too long. Nice verses, though.
