Thanks for the updates! Hey how was Michael Grimm? Did you have to sit through his own songs or did he do covers? Should we take longer at dinner or is he worth seeing?

He was good- he did original and covers. I just can't listen to an opening act.

Wow, the show was amazing. Stevie's voice was great. I agree with most of the comments already posted, so I won't waste space repeating. Although I will say there were a ton of very rude, stupid, drunk people there. Kind of weird for a Stevie show and embarrassing for Denver.

We were so glad we got to meet and hang out with some Ledgies. For the ones we didn't get to meet, I'm sure there will be another time.

We got a bunch of pictures. I'll need to find out how to post them here.

I think Stevie wants to do a shorter set this time around, so he is on stage for at least 45 minutes, with a 15-20 minute intermission.

Oh, and as corny as it is, the band walks out to "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas.

That's what she did at the Wiltern and I actually think it's befitting for the occasion and works nicely.

I think it's overplayed and has no use at a rock concert. How about "I Can't Wait" instead?

Oh ok.I think that was the time with Vanessa was with her.15-30 min is about average for Stevie.I just want to get a feel of the time when she came aboard .Buffer time incase I'm late getting there or finding my seat.Only once I got a chance to see Chris Issacs when he was on tour with Stevie. That time was the flooded Jones Beach show.Ever then I was so pisted off about trying getting down to the front to my seat. But the security told us to sit up at the dry end.by that time .I was unglued and upset and did not enjoy Chris's set.the other shows I missed his set.If it was another artist .I probably say lets go home.

Just got back--what a trip! I feel so blessed to have seen Stevie at Red Rocks. I can check it off the bucket list now. Others have made more detailed comments than I can, but I'll share what I can recall from my haze of Nicks-induced euphoria.
"Soldier's Angel" was probably the highlight of the show for me--in large part because it was the most changed from the Wiltern. I didn't think she'd do it without Lindsey, and was terrified that Waddy would substitute if she did, so her performance with Sharon and Lori was a lovely surprise. It had a much softer feel than the album version.
And the atmosphere was astonishing, of course. Especially by the end: "We've summoned the wind!"

I loved our ledge-fests--what a fantastic group! There were a few I wish I'd gotten the chance to talk to more, but I had a great time at the Hard Rock and at Randy's house. A special thanks to Randy for opening his home to us. You and Rose were wonderful, and I loved your friends and neighbors (especially Carolyn!).
And to Christopher--I shudder to think what insane things I must have spurted out last night, but I haven't laughed that hard in a while. You and Sean are the tops.
