R U KIDDING??? i didnt c it yet...but she did secret love??? thats a HUGE "WTF?" cause its already out there..get another damn song out to scoop up those who may not particularly care for SL and spark interest..though tfor sure she woudl so "IYD"..that is def radio airplay material..hey... watever..she do wat she wants...she DID earn that right...but that song is boring

I thought it was a cool performance. You can tell she was feeling the effects of pneumonia, but she soldiered through with aplomb. I liked the added grittiness to her voice too. All in all, I thought it was even better rendition than on Oprah.

I think Stevie just goes through phases where she gets kind of obsessed with a particular item of clothing or accessory... we all do it. Right now she's into gloves.

I wasn't crazy about Secret Love because of the demo. And, when I first heard the recorded track--it took awhile to grow on me. But, I like it live.

And, whatever anyone wants to say about Stevie--she showed a lot of gumption performing on Ellen. She has a raspy quality to her voice anyway, so...it was a bit raspier. But, crap. Watch most of these younger, auto-tuned to death, top 10 performers nowadays when they do live television. They can barely hold a note (and sometimes don't). This woman had/has pneumonia and did just fine (well, maybe the hula moves need to go...but, other than that...she did just fine).

She looked great, was charming, is trying to do for gloves what she did for Victorian dresses (heehee) and I'm proud of her. Now, I hope she rests up for those upcoming concerts and gets better and stronger every day.

I totally agree. Secret Love is like a sleeping pill live. She needs to do In Your Dreams or just something else.

I believe they did Secret Love because due to her illness, they haven't had the time to rehearse anything new, which is a shame.

She's going to ride out "Secret Love" live, as well she should.

In a live, national televised setting, this is the first time she has performed the song. Oprah did not count because that was not broadcast, that performance could only be seen on the website, so really, Ellen is where she debuted the single live, as she did with "Every Day" on Rosie 10 years ago.

I am hoping for AI she changes it up, but she performs the song well vocally and is rehearsed so let her do her thing.

It's Reprises fault, not Stevie's, that a second single hasn't been released yet. Since there are more videos to come I see that happening by the time she goes on Idol. As much as we complain about WBR/Reprise, their timing with things this time around has been pretty spot on. Like when they released "Secret Love" the day Stevie was on Ellen in January. Stevie was ready to perform the song, but Ellen personally requested that Stevie perform "Stand Back". If she had performed "Secret Love" on her show in January, then she would have performed something else today.

I thought the performance was really good considering she's still sick. She looked great! I loved her in the red dress So good to see her in something other than black haha. I loved all her hand movements and her little air guitar movement I think it was definitely better than the Oprah performance and I loved how the band sounded...a little different than the album. I liked it a lot overall...plus it wasn't "Stand Back"! haha

Weirdly enough... her speaking voice here, to me, seemed very reminiscent of her younger speaking voice. Maybe the pneumonia like messed with sinuses or something haha.

I didn't think her performance was bad, but the hand motions have really GOT to go. If she wants to do the flowy movements that's fine, but all of the like kindergarten hand signs stuff seriously is distracting and it looks like she's trying really hard to remember what motion to do next. :/

She looked great Stevie looks awesome in red.

I have just finished watching Stevie perform Secret Love on Ellen here in Aust, so cool to see her on TV, she looked thin & beautiful as always i loved her hair & burgundy dress, she sounded really good considering she's still getting over her illness.. Great to see her back in business promoting her CD, I'm hoping she will switch it up & sing Moonlight on her next TV appearance.. that song is awesome & would definitely rope in some new fans & albums sales..

So I have watched it about 15 times now & even tho she might not sound as good as when she's not battling pneumonia, this is still probably my favorite performance in 10 years for the red dress alone. I know it's just a copy of the black one she wears so much lately, but red is my favorite color on her & I think she should wear it more often. And even some white & blue too. The black is just boring anymore.
