Default audience videos on youtube

During the UTS tour a lot of videos filmed by the audience popped up on youtube but it seems like someone (Warner Bros. maybe?) is cracking down on them this time around...or maybe they aren't even being filmed because security is higher? A couple of days ago I found a couple of audio tracks from a show on youtube recorded by someone with the GOS cover showing as the track played but they're already gone. Do they think people are going to lose interest in actually seeing him live or buying the album if they watch a couple of shaky, low quality videos filmed by the audience on cellphone cameras? I saw him twice last tour but unfortunately he isn't playing nearby this time around and I've gotta say that it really sucks not being able to see, or even hear any of the new materiel and I'm sure some of you guys can sympathize. Who knows, maybe they'll ease up a little as the tour proceeds

Well there's a few threads here that have the full shows of some of the shows (3 or 4) that have been recorded so far... So you can at least hear the show if not see it on youtube.

I shot a video clip of Lindsey doing the rare live OOtC track "Turn It On" in Asheville on the 2nd leg of the UTS tour. I checked and it's still up on YouTube (now it will probably be pulled though!). Here's the link:

^^^ Oh. My. God.

I swear...are you going to Cleveland, Hamilton, or Toronto??? If you are, I totally owe you a coffee! You. Are. Awesome.

LOL sorry...I am like falling all over myself because I haven't been able to find an MP3 of this and never even thought of looking for a video... This is my favorite song, I got to see it 3 times, and I cried every. time. I wish he was still doing it, but I realize it's got to be a very difficult one to perform live...VERY wordy with a funky melody that's got to be hard to reproduce over and over in a live setting. I'm just glad I got to see it...it absolutely meant the world to me and always will.

And seriously, you have no idea how grateful I am for that video. I hope it doesn't get pulled, I bookmarked it!

Thanks Bree, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Don't worry, if it's pulled I'll just post it on my website. My pictures from Nashville & Cincy are still up, they aren't that good but they were both great shows, I'm glad I managed any pics. My pics from Asheville were much better, I'm not sure why they went away, I'll have to check my website. I'll repost the link when I get those back up for anyone who missed it when I 1st posted them.

Here's the link for the Nashville & Cincy pics:

(I can't edit those darn pages b/c I put them up on my sister's Bead Store website when I was the webmaster for her. She has a different host now and I can't get to my files!)

I won't be at any of those shows regrettably, but if you see that Nico girl, give her a coffee from me, ok? Thanks!

Thumbs up

I got a few videos and they are posted in my thread My Lindsey Excursion. I tried getting just some audio in Cleveland (I was afraid of Camera Nazis), but most of that is so muffled and bass-y, it sounds bad. A couple came out okay, but not great. I might post them on YouTube, but hopefully, someone else bootlegged all the shows I went to. LOL The ones I've heard so far are amazing quality.

Thanks Christy...I appreciate your posting pics/youtubes...

When Lindsey comes back to cali, I promise to be better about obtaining footage...prettymuch got wrappedup in Diego...filming wasn't a priority.

A bit of I Know I'm Not Wrong from last night:

Go Insane:

Sorry they are only snippets! I have a few more random ones (end of "I'm So Afraid" solo, end of "Come", a bit of "Gift of Screws" that goes out of focus at the end, heh) if anyone is interested.

Couldn't resist putting up this one, because it is my "OMG he is so close!" moment.
