Im sure it was a great show, but this just sucks. Im glad she replaced OTR with INTK. I need to know is such a rocker and im glad its back. I heard she barely changed for this show.

Cool set re-arrangement.

Was security tight with the cameras again? Anyone get any pictures?
I'd love to see what the t-shirts look like.

setlist sucks. I went to bed hoping I'd get up and see that something amazing had happened. damnit. well, I surely feel better about not spending $1000 on a trip out there. I've done the Vegas/Stevie show...circa 2005.

glad everyone had a great time and that Stevie was "feelin'" it. that's awesome. and can't wait to see pics and the new merch.

These are not hits and she could easily switch them out for another non-hit. Lazy
Add to that:

INTK
Rock and Roll

Six songs that she could switch out. Instead, she put all the same old same sold songs on little pieces of paper, went to the craps table at Caesar's, put all the pieces of paper in the cup and tossed them out on the table to form a set list.

Then she freaked out and put Edge, Rock and Roll, and BATB back in their rightful place.

Can't believe she finally dumped Enchanted from the opening song but still kept it in the list.

I'm glad I didn't spend the money this time around. Although very glad to hear she put on a great performance.

Nope, he changes at least a couple from leg to leg, even including the occasional audience request that most certainly wasn't rehearsed. Whereas she changes nothing from tour to tour.

Guess we won't be visiting priceline today to get our last minute Vegas plane tickets?

So, she is not stagnant My beef with her is I want her to change it up even more. But, I do love that she did Circle Dance, R&R, etc.

I also think she will change it way up for the upcoming tour as these sort of one offs are not really full on tours, etc.

And - her last three tours were pretty much with other people and she sang on their songs as well.

exactly. yeah, this time around I'm disappointed and the setlist sucks. but that's not to say that Stevie hasn't changed her setlist more often than some would admit or acknowledge.

positive side, setlist aside, I would like to have seen that....Hell I would pay to see that

Actually, I wonder what the odds are for a setlist change once the tour w/"Eye-sack" starts?

At least I am not familiar with his setlist order (Both Deb & myself like his music, so she will be in tow with me for the OKC show May 30th) so at worst I wont be nitpicking his performance (I listen to WAY TOO MUCH music by other artists - and yes (!!!) I nitpick their setlists too )

stevie herself has said that she starts with the last set-list performed and then makes slight adjustments.

Well, she has sort of been on The Gold Dust Tour for two years now, though last Summer she took a break and hit the road with Petty, which was splendid.

Again, I think though she will keep most of the hits, she and CI will do some new and cool stuff.

As for Rock and Roll - she may be promoting this as a single

Nope, Bubbles isn't doing coke- she's chewing a "stickie". She's tiny (she only weighs two pounds).

Well, I don't think it's Stevie's desire to change things up that has created this- all of her tours (with the exception of these last solo tours over the last two years) have been backing up some sort of new material. Even Enchanted and Timespace had things that were either new or unreleased/unheard.

Stevie's practice is to pull out the same old warhorses (nothing past 1981 with the exception of "Stand Back") and lightly sprinkle them with one or two new cuts (of which one or two are dropped after the first few shows). I can live with that, I guess. However......

This whole thing is ridiculous. It's like the Malibu Stacy episode of the Simpsons "LOOK!!!! It's Malibu Stacy! And she's got a new HAT!! She is better than ever!!!"

Stevie has officially jumped the shark into Dinosaurland.
