Rosie on The View

I am proud of Rosie!
She has brought the show back to life....

Eh. I have mixed feelings. The couple of times I've watched it she was loud and overbearing and the other women looked visibly annoyed and the guest uncomfortable.

I know she's got a "strong personality" but she could tone it down a bit.

Still - I've heard good buzz overall - so I'll keep watching to see if things have changed since I last watched.

I like Rosie and I applaud her Chutzpah. I think that it takes moxie to say what she says, knowing that it grates against the grain of mainstream America.

I havent been able to watch her as I work during the day. I just hope she stays true to herself and doesnt sell out.

You know, you do get that impression right off the bat, that she's abit loud and over bearing on the others, but watch it and you will see that they are all having a lot of fun - and they all get equal time. And she has brought the show back to life! She was hired as the moderator anyway to kick off the show and steer the topics etc.

I was especially concerned about Joy getting all out of shape because she's a comic and Rosie's a comic - and she's been the funny one for the last 10 years, but I think they both are getting the laughs in.

It's pretty good.

Yeah I've yet to sit through an entire episode, so I should do that before I pass judgement on the gal. I like Rosie - always have...and I have to say that I'm very pleased there wasn't an uproar over what was recently said on the view...

The blond chippy said something about radical Muslims being dangerous for America, Rosie shot right back, "so are radical Christians" It got wild applause from the audience - but sparked a pissing contest on I think it was MSNBC or something. Whatever - she wasn't speaking of Christians as a whole and as a Christian I found her statement to be very true...so that I enjoyed.

Anyway - I'll have to watch more than 15 minutes of the show

1) i totally love that you just called elisabeth "the blonde chippy"

2) i LOVE rosie. i love that she's on a daily show again. many of her personal issues that she has made public are issues that i deal with as well (i.e. being a gay, overweight, clinically depressed loudmouth )

That is the best point ever. I didn't think of that. Aside from Mariah Carey, Star JOnes is my other mortal enemy - so Rosie is definitely an improvement upon that

The point would have been more amusing had I actually spelled "blonde" correctly

And aside from the issues you mentioned, I've always admired Rosie's adopting of kids and support of kids.

The one thing is that I've heard from so many that she's a raging bitch in public - and I can't get that out of my head...anyone met her that can tell me different?

I am very good friends with her brother Danny...She is known for being difficult. She is very different in person than the "cutie - pattotie" rosie
persona.

Starzilla really is evil. Just look at those eyes. If that doesn't work, look at Al's horrified face whenever they are seen together. You know he is staying with her because his life depends on it.
