I would like to echo this request, I have never heard space needle, and the way that everyone RAVES and raves about my heart, s, the chorus- Awsome, the lyrics - cliche, but awsome the music, very catchy, I just gant get over those notes in the verses! But I want to give it another try. Maybe I missed something?

You missed nothing. "My Heart" is total crap. Hard to believe it's by the same person who once wrote "Edge of Seventeen."

No kidding. And then the inevitable comments that it must be about LB pitch it over into the chasm of pukage. I still think of my own song parody of it that started out something like "Pit stains...and the first wigns of wear...tainted my dress...."

I haven't listened to the song in ages, but still remember my shock at it's mediocrity. OMG....the swell of strings on the first verse...at the second line. Yikes.

I like the chorus, and the band work. Actually I really like the band work, the notes chosen, etc.

The lyrics are readily accessible, but not brilliant. Still they are evocative. I find myself wistfully longing for things on some occasions when I listen to this song.

And, I have to note, Edge of Seventeen doesn't really contain much lyrical brilliance.

I don't like the beginning, or all the non chorus parts. Soooo nasal. so nasal. so nasal!

overall, though, I'm pretty happy when it comes on my ishuffle. I just wait for the chorus, and listen to the notes. I rarely listen to it on purpose at home, though.

I know, but I have my limits. And they are wide, but they just don't encompass the non chorus parts on this song. They especially don't encompass the beginning verse.

I love Space Needle. I love the lyrics - it's so sad and dark, but hopeful at the same time. I think it gives such an insight into how Stevie was feeling when she went into rehab.
