Yes but I don't see how someone could manage to get a hold of her cell phone number which is why I think it's possible they didn't call to begin with, thought we'd all think it's cool that her friend did this and make up that part of the story. Chasing them around a hotel I doubt they even stayed in? That part I believe took place. She was ten kinds of crazy. We reemed her out a few months back when she posted this story. She hasn't been back since.

I think you misunderstood what I meant. The people being taken for the ride (savvy longtime fans) are the ones who do have a connection to the band and don't realize the fans who want to get close to and befriend them are really only interested in who they might know and what that might mean to them in terms of information or access to industry or band members. Hope that clarifies it.

Then again, some people that have psuedo connections to the band are quite quick to make statements alluding to the fact they know someone or something, are quick to defend and often at times just as rabid with their opinions and statements as those who believe these incredible lies. They make it their quest to rectify the injustices they see occuring. I'm not sure which fan is "crazier" (although we can't call them that because they're prominent) It seems like each is manipulating to me

The word crazy when it comes to fans is very subjective, there's all kinds of crazy. Like you said in your other post, there's ten kinds of crazy floating around out there in FMland and one person's crazy is another person's gospel truth

I don't remember her specifically saying cell phone number and Lindsey's home number was floating around out there a while back so its totally possible that her and her lunatic friends did have it. From the way she recalled the calls going down, I totally believed those idiots called more than once. The incredible lunatic factor (although there were many) was that they didn't think anything they did was wrong until people started jumping on her saying it was. Even then it took some convincing for her to even start back tracking her story and making it seem like they didn't do it.

Hey, anyone who would post that hotel chasing insane review and be proud of it, would have no qualms about callling Lindsey's home and posting about it. She was very disappointed that Mick didn't answer the Q&A questions because she was still determined to get an answer about their gifts and cards. She could only see how her need to know overshadowed everything else.

He said he asked both Mick and Stevie, and they said they both had footage, but didn't know where it was or it was in storage or something.

I'm fairly certain it was her cell phone. When I get a chance, i'll see if I can find it. No matter which number they called, it's crazy. Needless to say, i'm glad she took a hike from the Fleetwood Mac fandom.

Wow this thread sure has grown...I think that like someone said this IS a Fleetwood Mac website and that's why everyone here is not totally devoted to Stevie, which is OK. No doubt Stevie has MANY fans here at the Ledge, some of her most devoted fans are the very ones who criticize or just joke or tease about her from time to time...they can take it...they dont cry when someone says Stevie's butt is a little big, they laugh...because they know they love Stevie...it's weird, but true..

Don't come here talking about us being crazy when wasn't it the BN Board who had the thread about Stevie REALLY being Jessica Nicks' mother, and she gave her to Lori and Chris to hide the pregnancy--and thats why she was REALLY big in the early 90s..I mean cmon...

Let's not throw all "shippers" into the deluded ~*~wyndchild~*~ basket, either. Much like things that are posted on this board aren't necessarily the entire groups belief, same goes for there as well. Some people might take offense to things like the blackdress thread and comments about Stevie's weight. Without speaking for Kelly, I think that's the point she was trying to get across earlier in this thread.

Wow. There's quite a lot to this thread and I can't even begin to try to address all of it. But I wanted to say (since this is one of the many subjects) that there are things that offend me everywhere. I get offended when people take the shipper stuff so far that it's utterly disrespectful to Stevie, Lindsey, Kristin, and the children, and I am also offended when people call Stevie fat and insult her mercilessly. I dislike it when people pretend she's perfect and I dislike it when people bash her relentlessly and unnecessarily. There's some of that to be found on many boards, not just BN or The Ledge.
