Kelly Clarkson is a terrific singer and is writing songs for her next album with some other people. Her song, Don't, which may be on her next album is awesome! She has singing talent, unlike some of the female singers out there.

I think she likes to scream more than sing. She was on some Lifetime concert with Debbie Harry, En Vogue, and Shirley Manson (I know, what a WEIRD combo) and she irritated the hell out of me. And she used to be able to sing when she was on American Idol. What happened?!

That concert might as well have been called "Kelly Clarkson & Some Other People" with the amount of time she got compared to everyone else. -_-

Didn't watch that show, so I can't comment. You're right, she does scream sometimes, I wish she would control that better. I think she records better than she sings live, for the most part. I love Breakaway and Miss Independent.
