A slate of music superstars including Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Green Day, Joni Mitchell and Gwen Stefani, will help raise money for victims of the Los Angeles wildfires with dual high-profile concerts.

The FireAid benefit will take place Jan. 30, with performances happening at both the Intuit Dome, a new arena in Inglewood, and the nearby Kia Forum, a longtime landmark.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at noon PT Jan. 22 through Ticketmaster. Other artists participating include Finneas, Earth, Wind & Fire, Katy Perry, Lil Baby, Pink, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stevie Nicks, Rod Stewart, Sting and performing together for the first time, Dave Matthews and John Mayer.

More than 20 artists – more will be announced ‒ are expected to play the two venues. The fundraisers will be held simultaneously and are scheduled to be broadcast and streamed live on Apple Music, Apple TV app, Max, iHeartRadio, KTLA+, Netflix/Tudom, Paramount+, Prime Video, Amazon Music Channel on Twitch, SiriusXM (exclusively on the Life with John Mayer channel), Spotify, SoundCloud, Veeps, YouTube, and at select AMC Theatre locations in 70 US markets. iHeartRadio will serve as the national audio partner to FireAid.

Many of the artists involved have roots in Southern California, such as Eilish, who was born in Los Angeles and Stefani, who grew up in Anaheim.

The shows are being produced by Irving and Shelli Azoff in conjunction with Live Nation and AEG Presents.

Contributions made to FireAid at fireaidla.org will be distributed under the advisement of the Annenberg Foundation for short-term relief efforts and long-term initiatives to prevent future fire disasters. All proceeds from the FireAid benefit concert at Intuit Dome and Kia Forum will go directly to the event’s designated beneficiaries and the LA Clippers, which calls the Intiut Dome home, will cover the millions in expenses associated with the event, organizers said.

The LA wildfires are among the most destructive and costly in state history.

The concerts will take place three days before the 67th annual Grammy Awards, held at Crypto.com Arena in downtown LA. Numerous events associated with Feb. 2 celebratory music event have been canceled. But the show, as well as the Jan. 31 MusiCares concert honoring The Grateful Dead and the Feb. 1 Clive Davis Pre-Grammy Gala, is proceeding with a focus on fundraising and supporting first responders.

The Recording Academy and MusiCares recently established the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort to Support Music Professionals and have raised and pledged more than $2 million in emergency aid to music people affected by the wildfires.

Some of music’s biggest superstars will join forces later this month at benefit concert FireAid to raise money for the victims of the Los Angeles fires. On Thursday, FireAid’s promoters announced that Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Green Day, Katy Perry, Stevie Nicks, and Jelly Roll are among the performers lending their voices for the show.

The one-night-only event will also feature performances by Gwen Stefani, Pink, Joni Mitchell, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rod Stewart, Sting, Tate McRae, and Dave Matthews playing with John Mayer for the first time. Even more artists and special guests will be announced in the coming days. Tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster on January 22 at Noon PST.

Music industry mogul Irving Azoff is producing the concert with Live Nation and AEG Presents. The Eagles, Azoff’s longtime management clients, announced on Wednesday that they’d donated $2.5 million for the concert.

The event — hosted at neighboring arenas Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in Inglewood at 6 p.m. — will be broadcast internationally at select AMC Theatres, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Apple Music, Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Max, SiriusXM, SoundCloud, Veeps and YouTube. American Express, Intuit, and UBS are among the sponsors of the show.

The broadcast will motivate viewers across the platforms to submit donations to aid the victims of the wildfires. iHeartRadio will broadcast the show live to more than 860 radio stations across the United States.

FireAid will air days before the Grammy Awards are set to take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Downtown L.A on February 2. The Recording Academy announced Wednesday that it would be shrinking its event lineup for the week leading up to the awards to focus on fundraising efforts. Several other organizations are also hosting smaller benefit concerts to aid wildfire victims.

The Palisades and Eaton Fires have destroyed thousands of homes, killed at least 25 people and forced more than 150,000 residents to evacuate from their homes.

Among the thousands who have lost their homes are musicians Jhené Aiko, SZA’s longtime producer ThankGod4Cody, Dawes’ Griffin Goldsmith and former bassist Wylie Gelber. Tina Knowles, mother to Beyoncé and Solange, shared that her Malibu bungalow was destroyed in the Palisades fire. “It was my favorite place, my sanctuary, my sacred happy place. Now it is gone!! God Bless all the brave men and women in our fire department who risked their lives in dangerous conditions,” she wrote on Instagram.

These fires are really sad. It's hard to know what to make of it all. I don't understand why someone would rebuild there though. It could happen again. Why build memories in an area that is not safe? I know it's a beautiful place to live but is it worth it? I heard the insurance is astronomical if you can even get it. I always thought earthquakes were the big threat in California. Guess not.

Me too….so sad. Go Stevie! I was happy to see she is participating. I truly believe Stevie contributes for the right reasons and does donate behind the scenes a lot of money and her time. It’s NOT all about her PR.

IMO, her 2020s songs aren’t her best, but I still love hearing new songs from her and I’m proud of her for returning to being an artist rather than an oldies act.

I’d like to see some of the other acts, too. I miss the old days of lengthy multi-bill festivals, with acts often sharing the stage.

Irving Azoff did an interview about the benefit concert

It runs about 35 mins.

At 11:27 he mentions Stevie. He says that the first call he got to participate was from Rod Stewart (whose catalog he apparently manages) and then second, Stevie. He stated that right after doing the interview he was heading down to Stevie's soundcheck which it sounds like it was the first soundcheck. It was recorded on Jan 27 which was this past Monday.

He said that Steve Ballmer owns the two buildings the shows are being held at, and Irving does all the booking for both so... Also Ballmer says he will match every dollar donated during the concert itself. When asked if the recording of the concert will be available after the fact, Azoff said it would stay up maybe a week.

He wouldn't say who will be opening the show, but he said it will be two artists who were the first to offer to participate....and I thought I had heard Stevie was one of them

Welp....it's official.....per Stevie, there IS a god because...her house didn't burn when so many others around her did. This, to an arena full of people many of whom lost their only house and all their possessions..... you just can't make it up..... guess god skipped over their homes...

She somehow managed to make the LA Fires about herself. God, she has jumped the shark. That and she sounded terrible...this era of her voice is painful.
