Does anyone have any pictures of the current red shawl pre 1983? Just curious since Stevie is saying she's had it since '76.

Those are definitely shawls. The first pic looks like 1978 and I'm not sure what color that shawl is. I've seen photos where it looked sorta brown and others where it looked blue so it's possible there were two. Here are a few pics from Sortasavagelike's Photobucket page.

The second photo is the RAL Tour and definitely one of the red shawls underneath a white one...although I can't tell which one.

I'm way too obsessed with Stevie's stage wear.

No, I doubt she had it before '83, she probably got shawls and dates mixed up.

I didn't think so either. It seemed to make it's debut on The Wild Heart tour, along with the white version.

In case you didn't see my post in the Toledo show thread, Stevie said tonight, after she took off the red shawl,

"All the fans talking about this red shawl online"

or something along those lines. I think she may have used the phrase "on the fanline" but I knew what she meant.

She knows about this thread!
