Hi folks,
I wonder if you can make a special page here where every setlist for every gig of the upcoming tour can be posted? I would love to have this available, of course concert reviews are fine too, but could you make a setlistposting with the correct running order of the songs performed live every night? I ask this because there are great sites like Neil Young and the Rolling Stones which are only dedicated to setlists. It would be interesting to see the progress of songs performed and songs being dropped and others being added to the list every night. Also is a webchoice possible made available by the band where us fans can vote for certain rare songs to be played on a particular night? Greetz, Marcel.

Well, other than perhaps a tweaking or two after the first night, the setlist will most likely remain the same throughout the entire tour. Lindsey said in the audio chat yesterday that the band goes in with a certain set in mind and (I'm paraphrasing) would most likely not alter it.
For The Dance tour in '97, after the opening night (Hartford, CT, in which Eyes of the World was played instead of Second Hand News), the set was exactly the same, night after night. Even in cities where they performed two nights in a row, they didn't deviate from the set. I also don't think Fleetwood Mac would be willing to let fans choose songs for them to play. They don't tend to care for our input in that matter.

Yea this is a very good idea, and I'm sure that multiple threads will inevitably be created containing reviews and setlists as the tour progresses. It would be nice if a "sticky" thread containing the best review and setlist for each date could be created.

Hi Seteca,
Why should I be kidding? If the Stones can do this, why can´t Fleetwood Mac do it as well?? It just would be an appreciation of the band for us true fans out there, not the general public who only have bought Rumours and Tango In The Night. I really feel that the band should listen to our request for more rare songs like Frozen Love, Fireflies, Sara, Save Me A Place, Angel, Storms, Sisters Of The Moon, Blue Letter, Book Of Love, Twisted, Crystal etc. Greetz, Marcel.

Hey Marcel,
I totally agree with you (both your posts, and the songs you named!). And yea, in this day and age where it would be SOOO easy for them to almost instantly take a vote for some requests, one wonders why they don't want to do something like this for the fans. Unfortunately as Mike B said, they seem to have made it more than clear by now that they don't really care what we (cyber-)fans think. ![]() |
