The story of "I'm Not In Love' by 10cc

I found this interesting. This song is so unique and is one of the best love songs ever written and recorded IMHO. Its so dreamy and captures that mid 70s sound perfectly. The world seems to stop every time its on the radio. If you had a time capsule of the 1970s and needed to put in 10 songs, this would be one of them. What they did with the layered voices, vocals and how they crafted a song around them is nothing short of amazing. You can skip ahead to 4:50 to bypass the group's history to get to the song. My favorite line is "I keep your picture upon the wall. It hides a nasty stain that's lying there. So don't you ask me to give it back"

It's one of my favorite songs too. I remember a friend didn't get it. He said the guy was so cruel for not giving back her the picture he had on his wall. And I told him, "Don't you realize?? Pay attention at the Big boys don't cry quote and you will find his true feelings".
