I think it is Time. I do like BTM, and the only pre-Rumours album I own is Bare Trees and I liked; I don't listen it often but from time to time I enjoy it. I even enjoy Disc-4 from The Chain boxset. I think I enjoyed every Fleetwood Mac album I got, even including live, soundstages, bootlegs, etc. But Time was an album that I never got hooked by its sound. Not even Christine songs. Is there any mac album you got, but never listen after the first times you played it? I post this in the Rumours forum just because it's the most popular, but feel free to mention albums from any era (and if you want, even solo works, for example I bought Go Insane but I didn't like it and it's forgotten in some box). |

I don't listen to all of BTM, and don't even own Time. I only listen to select songs from BTM. I did buy 2 Christine Time songs of itunes though.
But I pretty much fully enjoy the rest of them. ![]() |

I own them all and listen to them all... I just listened to Time last week due to some talk of Dave Mason and such...
Vill I think you would really love some pre-Nicks stuff... check it out!

RUMOURS & MIRAGE and, to a SLIGHT lesser extent Fleetwood Mac (1975)
And, increasingly, ALL Fleetwood Mac albums. I'm finding myself less & less inspired to play their albums at all (well, except for the live stuff from the Peter Green era). I think the Madison Blues set has only gotten one or two listens since I bought it...I don't seem to gravitate toward that album at all. These days, I'm more into listening to the Allman Bros Band, Little Feat, & the Grateful Dead....I'm in a "jam band" phase right now.

Agreed. It's Winwood's best in years.

But, since About Time is the only Winwood album I DON'T have, I'll have to take your word for it. Note to self: scrounge up some bucks to get "About Time"

I'm in a death metal/black metal phase at this time...with occasional blues tossed in.

I listen to them all from time to time, even my least favs. I at least have a couple songs on every single album I like, and have to drag out and hear from time to time. Probably the album I listen to least is Behind The Mask... Mirage is probably right up there too. I like Mirage when I listen to it, I don't know why I never just pop it in *shrugs*.

I feel the same way you do about TIME. The whole thing I played once and didn't like any of it, including Chris' songs. Trouble in Shangri La was a very long wait and still to this day I only like the songs produced by John Shanks. Sheryl Crow produces herself well but destroyed Stevie's songs IMO.

I really don't listen to Fleetwood Mac that much anymore. I'll get Lindsey's new album, as well as Dave Mason's new album this month. Doubt I'll play them all that much. It's definitely a part of my past. I guess I played the albums just a little too much.
Anything after Tusk doesn't get much play. It was all bland and/or hit-or-miss. Time was the one I listed to the most out of that lot. I enjoyed the chemistry between Bekka and Billy, and thought Christine had some good songs. But the rest just felt forced.

Albums I have and never listen to...Behind the Mask, Time, Heroes are Hard to Find and Bare Trees. And...to a lesser extent, Mirage and Tango in the Night.

Madison Blues (love it, but I have to be in the mood for it. It's been a few years now since my last mood). LOL And while I'm at it, these solo albums, listened to all 3 once or twice only: Crystal Vision - SN Under The Skin - LB Live at Bass Hall - LB |

The Penguin, Fleetwood Mac (white) and definitely Time. I usually don't listen to.

Time for me...I don't hate it (I actually like Bekka's voice, as long as one isn't comparing her to Stevie) ...but I never listen to it...
