family death

Last night at around 8:00, my step grandfather's grandson died in a motorcyling accident. He was 32 years old, had recently been married and had a one-year-old son. I just spoke to mmy grandmother on the phone and the family is obviously extremely upset about their loss.

This has been one of those reality check moments for me. So, I ask all of you to hang onto each other and remember how fragile life is. Take care of yourselves.

Take care yourself.

I'll hold onto you right now.

{hugs}
Sorry about your family's loss. R.I.P.

What a terrible loss. You've got my sympathy, we went through something similar not too long ago. It's hard, but just be strong!

sending you hugs and prayers....you're not alone.

I'm sorry Daniel. You're right, life is fragile... we forget that sometimes.

It's more the withered eye! I can't remember what my defects were. do you remember? Or maybe I was just radiantly beautiful!

Your main problem was having only half a face.
I can't believe you were telling us how fragile life is, blah blah, and you won't even accept my hug.

Well, fine, I haven't had my cootie vaccination anyway, so I wouldn't want to risk infection. Nyah.

I'm terribly sorry for your family's loss, Daniel. My thoughts and prayers are with you and them.

Gosh, 32 years old... that's my age. It's weird, because you tend to feel so old sometimes, but then when you hear of someone your age dying, you realize how many more decades of life that you just take for granted that you'll have ahead of you.
It's a damn shame that his baby boy will grow up without his daddy.
