Default biggest surprise

what was the biggest surprise for you upon listening to the reissues?

mine was "think about it" on disc 2 of rumours. i didn't know fm did this before stevie made it a solo track. it's one of my favorites from BD, but i like this earlier demo even better.

There were three:

NGBA (WOW, I mean, WOW!! This is so awesome!!)
POTU (I love and adore this song, and it sounds fantastic!!)
Doesn't Anything Last (Too dang short!! I wish he would have completed this thought. )

SHN - the guitar is stellar. Also, GDW with the "baby don't leave me" at the end - that voice PHEW!!!!!

Sadly, I wish they would have included the extra lyrics (you smiled . . . .) in Songbird that have been floating around.

I LOVE this version. Worth the price right there.

I prefer the demo of POTU that I already own. The vocal is a little better.

Knowing Lindsey, the abrupt ending to DAL could be his sense of humor, as in this song doesn't even last.

The fantabulous version of YMLF.

I also had to wonder about the fact that Stevie seemed to have a much more promenant role on these recordings at one time than what actually made it to the album. Hmmmmm....

Trust me, doll, it's harder than Whitney staying away from the crack pipe and Bobby Brown.

They should be here by Saturday, but if not, I...don't know what I'll do.

I liked the kind of funky beginning of YMLF. I love the 'witchy' vocal on GDW even though I have heard it before.
I really liked Brushes (NGBA) and I thought DAL was pretty cool.

Planets demo - I love the guitar with this song, although I miss the ending (I still wish you gone . . . and I will live alone . . .).

The version of GDW with the IYEDB lyrics at the end - awesome!

I love POTU.
GDW ending with IYEDB was definitely a surprise.
I love hearing more Stevie in the Rumours' demos. It makes the songs even better.

Oh Daddy on the Rumours bonus disc. Stevie's harmonies gave me chills. I also really loved Doesn't Anything Last.
