Thumbs up Article from Rollingstone.com that lists what's gonna be on the reissues

I'm not sure if anyone has posted this yet but I just got a google news alert article from Rolling Stone about the new reissues and they have what demos/outtakes/alternates are going to be on the albums.

Here's the link:

Ooh, thanks, Colleen!!!

Looks GREAT to me!

I'm a little disappointed, but not at all surprised that they didn't include Stevie songs like "The Dealer," which have never been released in any form... I'm sure those are being "saved" for future recordings, and there's really nothing wrong with that... but it will be VERY cool to have the early version of "Planets Of The Universe!!"

So "Lindsey's Song #1" and "#2" are actually "I Know I'm Not Wrong," and "That's All For Everyone," and "Out On The Road" is actually "That's Enough For Me."
Should be interesting to hear these songs in their embryonic state!

I'm wondering if the bonus "Sara" is what we know as the "cleaning lady demo."

Agh, I'd love to post more thoughts/comments, but my dinner is calling!

Butter Cookie?? LOL That sounds intriguing...can't say I'm terribly excited about the numerous re-releases of all the songs that were included on the original releases - a la the boxed set(yawn).

"Wow, did Mick add a high-hat after that verse? Let's include THAT song, it's SO different than the original."

AKA "No Light," the demo most of us have had for years....

I dont see why everyone is not as excited as I am....I mean, we are getting a few never-heard tracks. Maybe if we weren't so spoiled from all the demos out there, then maybe this would be more exciting for alot of people...

Unreal@!!! I'm very excited about the reissues - especially Tusk.

It will be great to have the reissues as we Aussies face withdrawal symptoms.

Default Ooh, what a teaser!

Yep. Maybe Butter Cookie (lol I can't get over the name, it sounds so bizarre) was a Christine song that wasn't working out, so taking the lyrics out of that and you're left with that keyboard instrumental, which they decided to use for Stevie's 'Keep Me There' aka 'Write Me a Love Song' lyrics, but then it became clear that those lyrics stank too. I don't know obviously - just a thought. With any luck the booklets that come with the CDs will shed light on the development of some of these songs!

The ones I'm most interested in: 'Mic The Screecher' and 'One More Time' (Over & Over).

Good point about Rochelle - I expect we will be having big withdrawls, especially since it sounds the US is gonna get a new setlist for the final leg of the tour. So these reissues and the assorted DVDs will be a treat.

In my excitement, I didn't even notice Stevie's "Think About It" on the 'Rumours' bonus disc... that should make Christy VERY happy!

And I know we've had the early version of "Planets Of The Universe" for years, but I'm still very excited to have a pristine, digitally remastered, 1st generation copy of it on CD.
Same with "Think About It," and the various alternate takes & mixes.

In all fairness, there really can't be much left for them to release that we haven't already heard.
One could argue that it's their fault for not having released these things sooner, but one could also argue that it's our fault for seeking out and/or purchasing bootleg material in the first place.

This is stuff that we weren't meant to have heard before now, and it's sort of like sneaking into your parents' closet and getting an early peek at your Christmas gifts.
If the surprise is gone, we really don't have anyone to blame but ourselves.

Regardless, I'm still stoked!

I'm actually a bit surprised at the lack of bonus material from the Fleetwood Mac album. I would think there would've been more than just one jam & the single mixes. (hint: um, guys, what about a LIVE track or two? Maybe?)
