Default Check out this bizarre eBay picture auction

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7501654279

This is a close-up picture of Chris & Stevie from that 1978 Halloween party.

Exclamation Lol

No doubt that's Stevie, you can just tell by her features and hands...but if nobody told me that was Christine, I wouldn't have known who that was.

I know. I wouldn't have known that was Christine either. But, there is a picture of the band at the party in Mick's 25 year coffee table book. Chris was in blackface, Lindsey was a priest & John was a Nazi. I was shocked when I first saw that picture. It's very politically incorrect, although it was 1978. Still....

I think he's very interested in that period of history...but that doesn't really excuse the costume! He pulled a Prince Harry LOL.

Yeah. I remember in Mick's book(the earlier one), he mentioned that when they had toured in Germany back in the 1970's, they had traveled on a train which Hitler had also used. Mick mentioned that John had loved that since he collected Nazi memorabilia. I certainly hope he isn't into that kind of thing anymore. Afterall, his wife is Jewish, I believe.

Both Chris & John could have picked better costumes for that Halloween party, in my opinion.

I LOVE Mammy and Aunt Jemimiah - they are very popular in the collectable department - do a goggle search and you will see what I mean. Plus, the idea of Chris as Mammy is a riot.

I know some take offense at it, but I do not.

I think Mick also said that they were all too freaked out to actually ride in Hitler's train, didn't he? anyway I suppose back in 1978 there wasn't the 'political correctness' that there is today; IMO it's doubtful you'd see folks dressing up in those costumes in 2005.

Peter Green is also Jewish--wonder how he felt about John's little hobby?

Actually, I think Prince Harry "pulled a John McVie".
