Default FM reunion for JK Rowlings 60th BD Party

Has anyone seen this little nugget today. I posted here because I wasn't sure which iteration of the band they could be referring to. JK's 60th was actually in July but perhaps the party is this fall? I saw a similarl story in the Daily Mail.....so clearly it must be true

Yes, and the Daily Mail article mentions Stevie's tour during november but that her schedule is clear during JKs birthday weekend. However it also says A source said: ‘JK always keeps the band a secret but guests say she’s doing everything she can to reunite Fleetwood Mac.’. That makes me think this is unofficial or not confirmed yet.

Plus, I seriously doubt John would join them. With no Macs, that is not Fleetwood Mac.

It's a nonstarter without a "Mac". And honestly, If Lindsey isn't involved, it's actually not a reunion. Including the link to the Daily Mail article below.

And Rolling Stone has shot it down, thankfully. I'd like to think it would take more than a birthday party to bring this lot back together!

Please just let it be over. ANYTHING beyond this point is just embarrassing.

That is a strange rumor. What makes it insulting is that Stevie who is worth over 100 million would reunite with a guitarist she fired from the band for making lots of money from a billionaire's birthday party. I am sure Mick would have been there in a second. But reuniting for a one time cash grab is even too low for Stevie.

BTW, I often relate Lindsey's fired like Michael Anthony's from Van Halen. There was no real reason just that Eddie was angry at something. I was watching an interview with Anthony and he speculated he made Eddie angry by appearing and doing a few gigs with Sammy Hagar on his tour. Van Halen was in hiatus with nothing going on so Michael went and played a few nights on the Sammy Hagar/David Lee Roth tour. He speculates that because he went on and did something when the band was on hiatus really bothered Eddie especially since it was with 2 former lead singers. So it definitely was like the Buck/Vie tour. Stevie was angry that Lindsey went on without her with a Mac project or duo project. Although Van Halen was more brutal. They stripped Michael Anthony of all royalties and edited him off their website.
