I need some tips from savvy concert goers! lol
After a long wait, I'm finally going to see the Say You Will Tour. I have tickets to their Rose Garden show in Portland, Oregon this Friday. Several years ago I was lucky enough to get front row for Stevie's TISL show. This time I wasn't as lucky....I have 28 row. I guess it could be much worse. Still, anyone have any advice as to how to worm my way up the the front? Is there any point in the show where it seems appropriate to jocky up for a position near the stage? I recall that, during Stevie's show, people in the back seats knew enough to ready themselves before Edge of Seventeen, and they pounced the stage with a vengence. Even though I was in the first row, I still had to fight for a spot at the stage. Given that security is different in each venue, it would still be helpful to hear of fans secrets, techniques and skills for getting up close. Thanks ahead of time!

In Phoenix the security on our side was very strict (somewhat nasty) about people getting to the stage. Granted, the AHI donars paid a lot of money to have stage seats, but even at the end of the show when a lot of people had left, the security wouldn't let anyone get near the front. I tried to get down from a second row seat on the side, but nothing doing. It might not be the same at another venue. ?? It's always worth a try!
