preferred setlist - breakdown by album

so we definitely know now the setlist = saban setlist. while i think that is great setlist, it has too major flaws imo:

1) not long enough
2) UTS and all my sorrows

while i can understand LB's love and homage to the kingston trio, there's no excuse for UTS when there are such other gems on that album -

LB.

so i'll do breakdown by album what's on the setlist now, and what i'd like to hear. would love to hear other's opinions... maybe by nov we can get him to change up a few things? (doubt it, but fun to try anyway!).

i'm thinking of a few polls by the album of which song would you like to hear the most too...

so here it goes:

L&O - he does trouble, he has to do that one, so no comment
GI - he does go insane, see above
OOTC - he's doing sorrows and turn it on. love turn it on, great choice. replace sorrows w/ you do or you don't
UTS - he does SUD and UTS. keep SUD. replace UTS with try for the sun. since that won't happen, then rodeo - please!
GOS - he does only treason?!?!?! sooooo many i want to hear from that one, but i will say, since he did GOS before, than replace treason w/ underground, and add wait for you or right place to fade.
SWS - 6 song he does - something for everyone. good choices. although i'd love to hear RAB or one take added, i'll not be greedy.

FM - he does ISA, needs that...
rumours - he does all 3, happy with that
tusk - tusk - def needs that. please LB, add something - walk a thin line would be nice!!

mirage - nothing, fine by me (although love eyes of the world)
TITN - big love, ok, needs that
SYW - nothing ?!?!?! such great collection there, and nothing? although yeah, other than rover (and he has other songs that he now does in that style) his best GOS songs were on UTS and GOS - which brings me to my last point:

original GOS sessions - he does nothing ?!?!?!?!!?!

im fine with the sws and the obligatory hits so I think these changes, sticking with the same album where i can

"sorrows" swaps for "you do or you dont", "soul drifter" or "dont look down"

"never going back" swaps for "I know im not wrong" (only because i love that song done live)

"under the skin" for "It was you"

"treason" for "Love runs deeper"

really though i could do with some extra tracks ~ more gos and ootc!

seems to be consensus - nobody here wants sorrows so far.

re i know i'm not wrong, it's a cute rocker. but he has all these new ones now, so no reason to drag that one out again. been there, done that.

re SYW, just occurred to me what i would love to hear (and he seems to have done it live few times back in 2001) - love minus zero.

really though, these need to be added and i'd be very very happy:
walk a thin line
rodeo
you do or you don't (since he did don't look down the last tour)

also would be nice:
one take
underground
love minus zero
right place to fade

oh, i'd love that (he used to do that, too - right? love minus zero, and then soundstage stuff had GOS stuff way before it was released on UTS, and then again there's Saban w/ 6 unreleased at the time - although that last one was advertised as such).

This makes even more sense for Lindsey than for other artists. He can't make money touring solo, so basically the only reason he does it is to promote an album. The casual fans who come to see him, are too few in numbers to pay his bills anyway. That being the case, then go out and play the whole album. Who are you afraid of disappointing? People who want NGBA can get that on the Fleetwood Mac nostalgia tour.

The GREAT Iris Dement only plays like 3 songs from her catalogue in her shows. The rest are new and unreleased. And all beyond magnificent. Makes going to her concerts special.

I hear Cheap Trick allows songs to mature on the road before eventually landing on an album.

I prefer ballad--as it is a Mac staple. Even solo, I respect the brand.
