Default The Cover og 'Say You Will'

Read: The cover OF 'Say You Will'..

I'm sure I've read somewhere that it has a special meaning or background story. But I've completely forgotten it. Can anybody help...?

I don't know, I've never heard of any...

All I know is that I like it and that those trousers look damn good on Lindsey.

It's modeled after some japanese movie, their positions. I forgot why. I'm sure David will come along soon to help us answer that question.

Someone very astutely noticed that it looks like a copy of the cover for this film, and was probably a play on words referring to the whole conflict about whether to make SYW a double or single album, due to sales concerns.

Love the cover- probably my favourite (Lindsey looks freakin sexy!) but Stevie is so touched up, she doesn't look like herself

Has she ever really looked like herself on any of the album covers?

Lol. They are all touched up to some degree Im sure, but the SYW cover is ridiculous - If somebody just enlarged her head and showed it to me - I wouldn't even think it was her. I mean, look at the pictures in the booklet, then look at the cover...

I've wondered what message they were trying to send about the cover as well. That picture bears a remarkable resemblance to their cover.

Has anyone tried to figure out which hands are whose on the picture behind the CD tray?

Thanks, but I'm just reposting... I'm not sure who made the initial discovery.

At first I thought they were the band members', but then I realized none of them had neatly manicured French tips . It's actually a stock photo by someone named Keith Carter: http://creative.gettyimages.com/sour...RoyaltyFree=on

Really? I think Stevie looks like Stevie on SYW. Now, if we're talking The Dance or TOSOTM, that's another story.

I could barely contain my excitement on that day back in 1989 when I bought the new Leeza Gibbons album!

That's fascinating. And no, Stevie doesn't look like herself. Yes, Lindsey looks damn good.
