Contacting Management?

Hi everyone,

With all this talk of contacting FMs management, I was wondering how I would go about doing so. Does anyone know how to contact each individuals management? Thanks in advance, I apprciate it!

thats not such a bad idea...Maybe someone who is OFFICIALLY "in-the-know" may either have some answers or possibly "not have a clue" to the BS going on...Brian J.

(it's not a secret, you can find Stevie mentions them in tour books and liner notes).

I'm not sure how much good this will do. Mick's man, Carl Stubner, is fully aware of the website. His name is on the registration. Jackie, who's been elevated to site administrator over there, posted that Knight told her, Mick and Lindsey read print-outs of Mick's board! If true, we all know they are carefully sanitized print-outs.

I also don't think Warner's cares either. I signed up for the fan club after getting a solicitation email from Warner/Reprise. They hyped the great ticket deal for fan club members in their email to me...no disclaimers or mention of limited availability or restrictions apply. I've heard that emails going TO them have been bouncing for weeks.

It'll probably take a call from a reporter or contact with a PR person at one of the other management teams to get any response. I'm not sure that will get anywhere either. That's why I am blaming the band and their people. I think they've heard some of the rumblings and they just don't want to know. JMHO.

Glitter, I really am sorry for all you have been through. Maybe Mick's people aren't the ones to be talking to, your point taken. But the other members of the band do NOT share the same management, and have just as much to lose in the PR campaign known as Fleetwood Mac.

I don't think there are guarantees, you're right. But your situation is compelling, and *I* believe you. Why would FM fans make this up? They just wouldn't! I can only suggest you call them. Try to stay calm and present your story. Glitter, the only thing you can lose in taking the situation to them is the phone bill. On the other hand, if they realize what has really been going on, and see how fans have been impacted, it seems to me they will have to hear you out.

How much longer can they ignore this before it comes to the other media, non-internet related? I LOVE Fleetwood Mac, but I am really sickened by the treatment of the fans by a company hired to represent Fleetwood Mac.

Glitter, I hope you push on. You are the only one that can represent your story. What you've seen, heard, experienced.

I don't think there is a person on this board that doesn't take you at your word. Seriously.

I called HK Management yesterday afternoon and this is what happened:

I spoke with a woman named Michelle (I think she was a secretary) and she transferred my call to Sheryl Louis' office. Ms. Louis said she didn't have the time to talk about the entire situation at the moment, which was understandable on a Friday afternoon. She told me to call on Monday if I wanted to speak with her, preferrably in the morning. She said to have some quotes and print-outs from the message board and stuff for me to read to her. And that was the gist of it. Hopefully she isn't shafting me and she really has plans to speak with me about this bull****. If not, MY walls will be flamin'.

Reminds me of the story of the missionary and the cannibals. They listened patiently to everything he had to say. And then they ate him.

Just teasing. We need a bit of laughter. The news on tv is real. The stuff we do to 'escape,' our music/Fleetwood Mac world is not doing so well either. I think that's another reason why were are so angry. It's the money, yes! But it's that this could happen at all. Now. WHY?!

You're right. With everything that is going on, we need our comforts. FM is one of them. When you ask people for money in good faith on a name that has 30+ years of credibility, then you better back it up. I can't wait to hear the new record because I can only hope that then the healing process will begin.

I hope she does listen and take it seriously. I'd like to let her know what 30 years of being a fan has done for me. It sure is a nusance to have to go traveling to freinds and relatives houses in order to post and help out here.

There are no "sanitized" or "accurate" versions being read by anybody and the idea that Mick and Lindsey are reading the boards "as time permits" was as ridiculous as the idea that the management is reading these imaginary printouts or the actual BB.

Yes, I figured as much. Just the same, don't we want to give them the benefit of the doubt since they keep telling everyone THEY are the only "Official" source of everything and you'll only get the real and correct news from them? Bwhaaa!
