Does anyone have any go-to Fleetwood Mac songs for karaoke? Anyone ever sung FM at karaoke?
My friendship group are really into this excruciating form of entertainment. The only thing worse than singing karaoke is being there and not singing. Or tentatively doing it and doing it badly. Last time we were out I murdered ‘Zoom’ by Fat Larry’s Band and ‘Buffalo Soldier’ by Bob Marley. I’m thinking I need to fall back on what I know. I can’t sing. I’m awful. But I reckon if I prep some FM in advance of the next night out I’ll be okay. So- any suggestions? Anyone sing anything before? What’s easy? What goes down well? I think I could manage Seven Wonders okay. And I think, maybe As Long As You Follow could be quite easy….ish.

Dreams is an easy one to sing but really drags unless you can liven with expressive vocals. Everywhere is a good choice, as are Big Love, Don't Stop, Say that You Love Me, and Gypsy. I recommend staying away from Sara, which ends up a boring drone, and Go Your Own Way, which requires a very broad vocal range. I love karaoke but seldom pick an FM song.

Don't Stop might be the best one because it's so upbeat and it has the natural "group moment" at the end.

Over My Head or Say You Love Me
Too bad they don't have deep cuts because Sugar Daddy would be the one.

Have you considered "These Strange Times"?

There was a reason Christine said the demo of Dreams was boring.
It does drag on... it's slow... YMLF is fun if you can hit and sustain those notes! If you can't, it's a disaster.

The last time I sang in a karaoke was in a pub at a peruvian mountains town. We (all guys) were so drunk that we choose Baby One More Time. I was in charge of the "still believe!" high note. Amid laughter, of course, we received more applause than Cameron Diaz did when she sang I Just Don't Know What to Do with Myself in My Best Friend Wedding. ![]() Back to the topic, I went to a Karaoke Halloween 2023 in Texas. A girl sang Dreams, very beautiful. So I recommend that song.

Some easy songs to sing:
"Evenin' Boogie" "Albatross" "Fighting for Madge" "Searching for Madge" "Underway" "My Dream" "Oh Well Part II" "World in Harmony" "Earl Gray" "Sunny Side of Heaven" "Caught in the Rain" "Safe Harbour" (although the last few seconds are pretty difficult) |
