Question Stevie and Rod in Tulsa observation...

So, Stevie was awesome last night in Tulsa! Love love loved seeing her again. I did think it was strange that neither Stevie or Rod mentioned each other in their sets and there weren't any duets with the two of them.... Anybody have any insight on why??

Rod Stewart is not compatable with Stevie Nicks she try so hard to make it work and he made no effort at all. It is probably better that they did not do any duets. You tube some of there past shows people posted and you will see there duets do not work.

touring with rod stewart was a disgusting abomination. it's like having sliced tomatoes with pepper, then spreading peanut butter on it. somethings were not meant to mix. what really bothers me is this whole rod stewart business just seemed to get in the way of
in your dreams. most of the rod fans could not give a crap about new music from stevie. they all want "soul patrol" rod stewart in drag kicking a soccer balls. it just seems like she could have been devoting that time and energy doing something else promoting in your dreams

Yeah, something happened this tour and I don't think it's about rehearsing. Stevie obviously knew going into it Rod would not rehearse. They did 13 shows together last year and I think only once did they not duet. Stevie always looked like she was enjoying herself during his set. This year's tour started out the same as last year, with Rod introducing her and then Stevie coming out in his set for the duets. Then, there was that review that mentioned Rod screwing up the lyrics and his antics during "Leather & Lace" - and no more duets this tour. Not sure if the two are related, but something definitely changed the way the tour was presented in my opinion.

I agree Stevie and Tom tour would be great. I like Rod Stewart though it would be a good combination with Stevie and Rod and it just didn't work for them together.

Yes I'm not beating up and knocking Rod as it sound.I like Rod and his tunes. He is a great entertainer at his shows. To bad it's falling apart as it sounds like.

If theres was Stevie/Rod show scheduled close by .this time I would go to it.

If this means that the only reason that they are touring together is to make moolah then totally agree here.
