BBC Children in Need - Don't Stop

Children in Need is the BBC's annual telethon to raise money for disadvantaged children around the UK. They usual release some sort of charity single, and this year the comedian Peter Kay arranged for cartoon characters / children's TV characters to sing a medley of songs. Don't Stop is one of them. Utterly bizarre, but all for a good cause.

I wonder if Christine had to give permission?

I am a big fan of Fifi and the Flowertots (I watch it with my great nieces) so it was good to see her with all the other "greats" of childrens TV on Peter Kay's video. Don't Stop was the icing on the cake with Pudsey Bear doing a great solo. Actually I bloody hate Pudsey Bear. I would like to thump him so he would need a bandage on his other eye. (I am a bad person)

I hope Christine donated her royalties - or maybe she doesn't get royalties from Don't Stop any more.

I agree about Pudsey. He is omnipresent at this time of year.

I am not sure about the royalties. I seem to remember Christine sold an interest in some of her songs off to a Japanese company about 20 years ago, but I would imagine that the rights will revert/have already reverted to her after some considerable time.
