To the Stage or not to the Stage.....

To all of our Ledgie Mac Fans Down-under;

Be prepared to go to the front of the stage @ 19:50 hrs local time.

Either go to the middle of the stage, or,

my favourite, eight feet to the left of Stevies mike,

the local security will try to keep you away from the stage before 19:50 hrs.......

until Dean, (head of security for the band), informs the head of the local security, &, the people in the front row, that the band want people allowed up to the front of the stage, so.....

the best locations are, (imho),

#1) .... 8 feet to the left of Stevies mike, (between the speakers),

#2) .... 6 feet to the right of Lindsey's mike, (between the speakers, &, in front Sharon, Jana, &, Lori),

#3) .... dead centre, between Stevie, &, Lindseys mikes, (DavidMn's preferred location),

So, as my bf's son said last night, it's better to go do it, &, be successful, than to not do it, and wish you had, (what are they gonna do, send you back to your seat),

BTW .... THIS HAS WORKED for me TEN OUT OF TEN TIMES in North America, &, The UK.......

Unfortunately in Melbourne, it was nothing like the US, where I got to the stage five times with a row 12 ticket or better. In Dallas, I had row 12 and was up there well before the show even started. Other cities like Denver and Oakland I recall being like described in the previous post. It varies according to the promoter I think, because ...

In Melbourne, only rows 1 to 6 were allowed, (the tickets sold at premium prices). We had row 11 which didn't cut it, but we did get up there for Silver Springs when security must have thought the gig was over.

So, I am confused as to how much say "Dean" has. I will be interested to hear whether Sydney is different.

Dean had a word with the local security on our behalf, asking them not to stop us going up once the front row had their chance, but every venue is different I'm sure.

where did they all come from....not just from the front row.......
