Gmail addresses?

When I registered with the Ledge some time ago

I was using an oceanfree address -- since then I've dropped that address and have switched to Gmail, but when I've tried to change the address on my profile I'm told I can't.
Same happens with my backup Hotmail address.

Any ideas?

i think the problem is you can't use any "free" email accounts to sign up for the ledge. i couldn't use my gmail account either - i'm using my school email. do you have an email acct through your school that you could use?

I don't, unfortunately, none of the options I've tried have worked, unfortunately...

Any ideas, mods?

I lurked on The Ledge for years (literally) because I didn't have a normal email account- only hotmail. Marty was actually very helpful to me once I got the right kind of email address, but it's not something they'll budge on, I'm pretty sure.

Of course I can, it's just a thing that if anyone sends me an email to the address I have listed, I'll have to wade through 80+ spam messages a day to find it!
Why so many people think I'm interested in hardcore pornography and viagra I'll never know....

Would some nice Ledgie mind zapping me a gmail invite? I just this second reached my breaking point with my Hotmail account and all its bugs and hiccups. ggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
