Alright everyone...here we go. I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone thinks of this one (and just for the record, I am VERY EXCITED about this because this is my all time favorite FM song AND the song that got me into them!)

I'll post my thoughts on SS later,being lazy right now, but up in the first verse you have:

Your shining over ocean crashing

and it should be

Your shining autumn...ocean crashing

For a long time I thought she was saying "shining armour...ocean crashing"

I think this will be a good one to interp. though

As Stevie says in the Dance, "Silver Springs is a great old song"!

I love this song. Although, the original is nice, the Dance version seems to have a lot more passion to it. Stevie's voice alone is amazing and the lyrics are incredible! My favorite line in this song is, "I'll follow you down till the sound of my voice will haunt you". Those lyrics are very haunting and really stay with you.

It is a beautiful song describing what I think Lindsey could have been to her, had he not been so into his music. I think that she is basically saying that Lindsey could have been everything to her and that no matter what happens between them, he will never forget her and never be able to get away from her. It is a love song of sorts and there is nothing like seeing Stevie sing this song to Lindsey with all her passion, heart and soul.

Easy enough extremely REPETITVE but i think that was obviously the point of the song. To make him or even the BOTH of them realize that there will always be something there between them no matter how much he denies it or flaunts the PAST for that matter.This is simply another exquisite glimpse inside her restless soul that needs his undying love.The difference between this song though and all her other love songs about him is that the live performance means so much more.Battle between their love and hate for eachother.Battle between her voice and his guitar.Neither of them ends up winning in the end because they realize the inevitable truth that there will ALWAYS be something there between them.

Alex yours was really good!.I really love this song because it's not the traditional love song "la la i love you lots , we're never going to break up blah blah blah!". I've only seen the dance version so i haven't heared the origional but i'll go by the dance. ok, i cant put it off anymore, my first one.

If he "turns 'round" she wont be there for him anymore. She feels like they've been apart for years but tells herself he never loved her to help herself get over him.

I love it too, i taped it onto my walkman and played it to my friends in school today, even my friend who's into slipknot liked it!, although she denied everything when i told her who it was by

which is sad 'cos everyone else said they must be cool(wich they are)

No Alex, I've NEVER heard that. Where did you get that information from? Very interesting comment. I do know that the "witch" tag was being pinned on her pretty heavily at that time though.

Well I got it from a site called "Stevie nicks in her own words"(if I remember correctly)No they aren't from my dreams... although I had a some more last night that I have to write up in "Wishful thinking" on the rumours board->thanx for reminding me.And believe it are not I KNOW this is true because I have heard about this more then once.This site also touches basis on other stevie subjects.Like the witch rumour,other songs,image,fans,exc.BUT my fav topic LINDSEY.I love this site->you should go check it out
Oh yeah she was tagged for doing a lot of stuff->In Mick's book they were talking about all the rumours that were flying around during the making of this album and that the new name for the album was "brilliantley apt". "Stevie leading a coven of witches in the black hills,Stevie sleeping with me and John on alternate Weds."I cracked up during those parts because they were so off the wall.See but that's the beauty of our band,there is so many debates and discussions,they aren't a group of boring old rockstars-->I LOVE THIS MESSAGE BOARD!
