Default Stevie on Don Henley's new album (Target Exclusive version)

Pardon me if this has been posted, but I didn't see it.

Stevie Nicks is on Don Henley's new album Cass County, but it's only on the Target exclusive version. The song she appears on is "It Don't Matter to the Sun."

SO excited!!!!

He looks old. He's got that "I whipe my asss with leaves" look.

It's interesting- all of the photos used for promoting Cass County weren't actually taken in Cass County (Texas, where Henley is from), they are all in neighboring Harrison County, on Caddo Lake. False advertising!

In any event, I really look forward to hearing this duet with Stevie!

Looking at that track list you'd think it
would be Waiting Tables.

Jondalar,
Stop making me laugh.

I wish I didn't know that Henley is such
an onry person. I'd probably buy this release
if not. I think if he smiled it'd break his face.

He's a "serious" Artiste. Though I think The Last Worthless Evening is a stunning song!

Yes, for some it's a tradition in the United States. They go out to woods to die in their old age. They eat what they can forage, catch ringworm, and use leaves as toilet paper. I'm assuming that Don has been living in Walden Woods for awhile, probably only leaving to cut an album. He definitely looks crusty. Probably over did the viagra too. Not sure what Europeans do.

If they're old enough they use mostly their own hands.

I, too, always thought it was strange that Stevie wasn't credited at all on the "Whenever I Call You 'Friend'" single.

I have the album (just for that song) and she's credited with "harmony vocals"

But aside from the choir of Kennys on the intro, the song is absolutely a full-fledged duet.

Maybe she didn't push for credit because she didn't co-write the song (Melissa M. did), and she was just doing a favor for a friend. Or maybe she didn't have a manager/label yet that would push for her rights as a solo act.

I looked at the back of a Kenny Loggins greatest hits album once and it listed Steve Perry as a duet partner on "Don't Fight It" but no mention of Stevie with "Whenever."

Maybe she was a little embarrassed by Kenny and the song. It's catchy, but a little cheesy.

However, I feel like it's an important song because one of the handful of Stevie lead vocals on official releases recorded before her voice began to change (apparent on Tusk).
