I found it in Circuit City today for $2 and just listened to it. Is it just me or do the remixes use the vocals from the White Album version of "Landslide" instead of "The Dance" vocals? I found it quite weird.
And some of those remixes are funky. ![]()

I'm jealous. I hate ordering things online and have never seen the Landslide single in the stores, so I haven't heard it. Are the mixes any good or are they just "funky"?

P.S. These remixes suck, BTW. |

Yeah, they're definitely the original studio version vocals... but the little "mm-hmm" part that they used here and there, is from 'The Dance' version.
I like the remixes... but then, I always dig these kinds of things. I think they're fun. The "string mix" is my favorite. ![]()

I think the remixes are very good. The string remix is also my favorite. I could do without the analog remix. I really was surprised when I first purchased the CD and played it that they were the original vocals, but I think that the remix compliments the vocal rather than just drowning it out with a lot of effects. It makes me wish that they would give the official remix treatment to other older songs.

This post actually brings up a question I was going to ask. Today while I was in yoga class, the step class next door had Peacekeepr playing. I listened very closely and it didn't sound like Lindsey at all!! Now I've noticed this in other exercise classes - they play popular songs but it is sung by somebody totally different - I guess to give it that bouncy arerobic feeling. Does anyone know what the deal is with this?? Is there a version of Peacekeeper out there for aerobic classes or something? Or was it really FM even though it didn't sound like them at all?

The string mix is great, but the other two aren't up to snuff. If you want some good remixes, get the single for "Planets of the Universe." I think the general consensus is that those are fantastic remixes. ![]()

I just found it so odd that they used that vocal.
