'Cept it's closer to the key of E than F,IMO. It's just a few cents off of E, considerably more off of F. Again, IMO.
That's always been a BIG source of frustration for me (as a player) with most of Lindsey's songs. He can't leave the tape speed alone , making every song deviate from standard A440 tuning. Wanna play along with Lindsey? You've gotta retune for EVERY song! Got a "locking tuning system" guitar? ARGH!!!![]() |

suggestion: capo!
you're right it's closer to E (for those with absolute hearing) .. but I play it in G. |

At any rate, it's neither here nor there. As long as the original poster has the chord progression in any key, he can transpose it to his heart's content. |

If I get my site done anytime soon, I'll give ya a link. I have lots of tabbed songs from the Mac.

David, I've never played it with the Fmaj7. I always use just the F because that is the way it is transcribed on the Tusk book. I'm going to try your way, especially since Fmaj7 is one of my favorite chords.

That's weird, I've always played this in D. I'll have to go investigate now...

I was in the fron trow right at soundstage. I almost S_it my pants when he played this as a request. Watching his masterfuls hands I was able to determine the the following:
F (on first fret barred) C "Dont know why I have to go..." Bflat C F "Dont know why I can't play...." He played it non capo, and simplistic. The sone looked like 6 chords tops. All you Turner Model 1 dudes out there try give it a try and finish this number for me!!! Thanks. MAC RULES!!!

The above chord progression is unquestionably wrong. If Lindsey did indeed play those chords at the Soundstage show, it seems safe to say that he has forgotten his own song. |
