I'm The One

This is one of my favorite Chris songs, it's just great IMO.., The keyboards sound great, the guitar, vocals, I've downloaded it before, but I can't wait to unwrap it in two days

Anyone else like this song? Hate It? What's your oppinion

I like it very much, but I think that, like most of that album, it sounds a little dated. Forgetting that, it's a good pop piece... although my favorite from that release has to be "The Smile I Live For", followed by the treasure that "Who's Dreaming This Dream" is.

I like it, although One in a Million is my favorite(I love the Lindseyish guitar line that runs thru the chorus, along with that massive B3 sound). Oddly, I've not listened to this cd for a couple years, and I've listened to it nightly for the past couple weeks. It does sound a little dated, but I don't think as much as TITN.

"I'm The One" is one of my favorite songs on Christine's 1984 album. The odd thing is that it wasn't WRITTEN by her. It was written by Todd Sharp...who included the song on his first solo album Who Am I. Talk about an album that should FINALLY be released on CD, that one is definitely a candidate.

I like "I'm The One" alot, but my favorites on the album are "The Smile I Live For", "Who's Dreaming This Dream" & "One In A Million". I LOVE the album as a whole. Chris certainly had some fantastic musicians helping her-Steve Winwood, Eric Clapton as well as Mick, Lindsey & Billy Burnette. It would have been interesting to hear what Fleetwood Mac would have done if they had recorded any of these songs as a band.

I'm The One is decent, I like it.

They play it as much as the Say You Will songs on the satellite radio at work.
