Does anyone know if there is an additional parking fee at the San Diego show? If its $10, like the pond was this week, can you recommend a close-by safe lot that may be free or $5?

If you are going - where are you at? Im in row 19 somewhere!

There are several businesses in the general vicinity and I think there is a strip mall across the street. I honestly don't know how strict the surrounding businesses are about that sort of thing. Since it'll be a Saturday, they might not care.

What a great show. Before the show I was wandering around and I hear "John!" I turn around and an acquantance of mine, Tim, was standing there fully dressed like Mick! I mean right down to the white shirt, vest, pantaloons and even the wooden balls (I didn't check for the red shoes!)! He looked sharp!

FM was in top form--the vox all sounded great and the band really seemed to be into what they were doing. They did the usual show but they strayed from their usual speeches once or twice. During her dedication of Landslide to San Diego, Stevie mentioned a 4 city tour she and Lindsey did when they were in Fritz back in 1970 or so with Leon Russell et al that made a stop at the very same venue (San Diego Sports Arena) and my aunt started shouting because she had been at that show! My aunt didn't even know that she had seen Lindsey and Stevie live before because she hadn't ever made the connection between Fritz and FM! Later in the show there was apparently some technical problem with the lighting because Stevie came out and said something like "Just so you know, we've lost the back lighting, so if the rest of them go out--you guys are our light!" She then launched into another great performance (I think it was Beautiful Child or Silver Springs). At the end of the show (no more lighting probs had occurred) Stevie told the crowd "You are our light!"

What a great thing to say and the show would have been perfect had it not been for a fight that broke out between a couple of grown men (like John McVie's age) a few rows ahead. My Mom got pushed when one of the guys got shoved into a seat. Me and some others had to hold the guys back until security came (they didn't get there fast enough if you ask me). At least I know I'll never forget the show, if only because of the fight I helped break up.

As for the age thing, we had three generation of my family there and I saw all kinds of ages there--this was definitely a draw for all ages.

Now if I could just get a copy of KGB FM's replay of the concert!

The concert was amazing. It is definetly the best concert I have ever been to. Their voices, their instuments all perfect. Just hearing the start of 'The Chain' makes me feeling like I am watching "The Dance" but I am really there this time.

'The Chain' and 'Dreams' were performed excellent. 'Eyes of the World" sounded so incredible live. Lindsey was awesome, he moved and sounded better than any rock band out there today. Stevie as always was magnificant sounding and looking. 'Rhiannon' was such a stunning performance, to actually get to see it done live was tremendous.

Mick kicked some serious ass on the drums and so did John on bass. Stevie and Lindsey were really on tonight. Their performances were nothing like I have ever seen. They really have some serious chemisty together. But I already knew that...

To hear my number one song of all time 'Silver Springs' live almost made me cry, almost. I closed my eyes so I could just listen, then I would look and just be in awe.

The highlight of the entire evening was during the performance of 'Tusk'. Lindsey's chord fell off of his guitar towards the last parts of 'Tusk'. He went crazy, but in a very damn cool way. He started playing his guitar behind his head and ramming into John. Then he grabbed Stevie and was dancing with her in circles. The moment will FOREVER be stuck in my head. I was cracking up and enjoyed that moment so much. It was great.

Lindsey singing 'Come' was very different, him touching his face while singing the words, in a old man sort of way. 'Landslide' was 'Landslide' as always the same, but Stevie did say at the beginning that her and Lindsey performed at that San Diego Sports Arena(the concert place) 30 years ago when her and Lindsey were with "Fritz" It was very cool to hear that story.

'Stand Back' was a great kick ass performance from Stevie. It seems she was not afraid to let loose and hit those "screaming" type notes. 'Say you will' was fun, Stevie did this "dancing" thing with her fingers around her head (spinning)... it was funny, alot of hand motions. 'Gypsy' was great. 'Beautiful Child' was perfect, to actually get to hear that was amazing, I love that song and Stevie sings it as good if not better than the "Tusk" version.

'Second Hand News' was nice because of seeing Stevie singing the "bow bow bow" parts, that was cool. Lindsey kicked ass on 'Big Love', 'I'm so afraid' was so much better seeing it live than watching it on dvd... much much better in fact. 'peackeeper' was great. 'Gold dust woman' Stevie got down and dirty with this song, especially at the end singing it so damn well, "Oooh pale shadow"... damn...

'Say Goodbye' was amazing, I love this song and to see Stevie and Lindey singing it to each other was priceless. 'World Turning' was very upbeat and a great performance from Mick. 'Never Going Back Again' was done great by Lindsey, a hard edge performance.

'Go you own way' Lindsey kicked more ass. He actually let someone from the audience play the guitar while he was holding it on stage by the edge. AMAZING, you will never see someone else do that. I love how he threw the guitar around and played it behind his head, again priceless. 'What's the world coming to' was great much better live.

'Don't Stop'was done really well by just Lindsey and Stevie, great rocking performance, also the "trojan horns" sounds in 'Tusk' were exceuted brilliantly. After 'Don't Stop' was over I knew they would come back. So I went farther upstage and finally got to see them upclose and hear 'Goodbye Baby'such a sad song but done beatifully by Stevie. I was glad to see their faces and see them say goodbye,(no pun intended) it made the experience much more "real"... Fleetwood Mac still kicks ass and all of the asses of any band around today..

sorry about my review, I wrote it when I came home from the concert tired from the drive and it is out of order and poorly worded... hence all the kicked ass commments... heh...
