Any certain songs or venues you're looking for?

Not really, just some of his really up tempo stuff from Tusk would be nice, a copy of That's Enough For Me would probably be the one I'm looking for the most. Thanks.

Thanks for that

That's fantastic! They really didn't make much effort picking the tracklist for the double live album....

It always seemed to me that there was no effort at all put into picking the songs for that album. The lack of the song "Tusk" on a live album that was released shortly after the end of the Tusk Tour always puzzled me. Along with some other notable songs missing like "Sisters of the Moon," "Angel," "Think About Me," "WMYTYTO," "The Chain," "Gold Dust Woman" and so on.

Wasn't the original intent to release the last Hollywood Bowl show from August 1980 as the album? I'm not sure that would have been much better. There are some great selections on the album as it is but there are also some puzzling choices and some songs that were left off that certainly should have been there.

Sorry David, but I think I have a better version of WMYTYTO live. This one is from St. Louis.

That was the plan at one point, yes. But the band had a particularly thorny style of playing by that time which many found inaccessible. Some people walked out on songs like "Never Going Back Again" in those days because they didn't sound like the album. An entire album of a single tour stop in 1980 would have been a strange beast in the market.

I like that performance too, but the performances from the final month are more exciting to me because they're less sane. They go through wild abandon all the way to exhaltation.

Does somebody have those Tusk rehearsal CDs handy to upload? There's some good material on them: Brown Eyes, The Ledge, Honey Hi, Think About Me, etc.
