Exclamation Hillary Clinton collapses during a speech

Just saw this mention on the news that Hillary Clinton collapsed during a speech she was giving at a public appearance in Buffalo, NY.

Happened due to some type of stomach ailment.

Here's the latest from the AP:

Sen. Clinton Collapses During Appearance

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton collapsed Monday during a speech on Social Security, a radio station reported.

Colleen DiPirro, president of the Amherst Chamber of Commerce, told WBEN-AM radio that Clinton told the crowd she was feeling weak and had had a stomach virus. Clinton started to speak then collapsed, DiPirro told the radio station.

Clinton, 57, was treated by an emergency crew at the scene and declined to be taken to a hospital, the radio station said.

She was scheduled to speak later Monday at a Catholic college about health care. Several hundred people were waiting to hear that address. There were also hundreds of anti-abortion protesters waiting at the college.

Clinton's 58-year-old husband underwent quadruple bypass surgery in September.

I hope she's okay.

She's fine - today is the day from hell news wise - all sorts of people are having press events - and then this happened.... But word on the news circuit is that she's totally fine - she refused medical care - and just opted to get checked out by the ambulence guys who said she is fine

She went ahead with scheduled appearances from what I've heard

Yeah, she did speak later. She told everyone "you know, it's not as dramatic as it sounds..." She fainted, she was probably hot & dehydrated & dizzy. But saying she "collapsed" sounds so much more intriguing to the media.

BTW - the first talk (the one she "collapsed" at) was at The Saturn Club, an very ritzy private club. It wasn't publicized at all until after the incident. The speech later was about health care at Canisius College, a Catholic College. That was a big deal because the pro-lifers were screaming that she's pro-choice & how dare she speak at a Catholic College. Well, she did speak, and there were protesters, but it was uneventful.

I know - we were laughing here at the station at all the national attention her brief fainting spell received.

She didn't even fall all the way down - apparently someone caught her... It really wasn't a big deal - she's got a stomach bug - it happens to the best of us
