GADS! The Chain, so so. But Rhiannon & Dreams. UGH. Lovely lady, pretty voice-but FM/SN covers maybe not her thing. I love that people want to pay tribute and that their music continues to evolve with new artists-but I so can't get behind loving the music. I feel like I'm missing out, so then go back and revisit, and get re-disappointed. lmao

Yeah, I hear you. I think fans are naturally protective of the original material, too. There's usually two ways you can go with covers: stay true to the original or totally reinvent. I think she was leaning towards the latter. But the nature of covering another artist's songs, especially if they are sacred Fleetwood Mac songs, is going to be controversial, regardless. In other words, someone's going to be pissed off.

I clicked on the link, got annoying pop-ups from essence, and still couldn't get any of the songs to play! No big deal as I'm not generally a fan of Mac covers.
